Does anyone know how to make a new line type in Layout or a new dashed line type? I want to make a line type that is set to a 1/2" radius and repeats as I draw a line. It would be great if I can create a rectangle and then change the line to the fore-mentioned style. Any help would be great.

You can't make new line types for LayOut. You can choose the existing styles and make some modifications such as line weight, end style and, in the case of the various dashed lines, scale but you can't create all new styles like you can create sketchy styles in SU.
