@honoluludesktop said: No birds in Holland?-) I can't leave my car outdoors a week without getting the glass bombed:-( Hm, yes, I see how that might be a problem. But seeing as this building is supposed to blend in with nature, a few dirt stains would only help that effect. Not that bird dropping should be left there though, that's a bit nasty even for nature life. But cleaning the windows should be as simple as turning open the garden hose. :3

Nice improvement , try adding more segments on the arcs oof the clock face. Also, try using a leather material from this pack of quality materials: http://www.kerkythea.net/joomla/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=42&func=fileinfo&id=36

These are fantastic Teo!! Makes me want to start learning V-ray for Sketchup. Although I'm sure it would take a whole lot of learning to get renders of this type of quality.

Thanks, the city outside the windows has a 30% transparency as I wanted it not to overpower the scene, the perspective of the city I guess could seem a little off. Before: [image: v2before1000.png] After: [image: v2ater1000.png]

Nice image. Only a little thing: the bridge is floating. In semiacoustic guitars, this kind of bridge has to be fixed to the bottom of the body.

The other day I found a comparison done by some university students between Vray for Sketchup and Artlantis. I can tell you there was no noticeable difference between them. I wasted 6 months of my life in vray, so I would recommend Artlantis anytime. Call me shallow, but I prefer a good graphic interface, an on the spot light control and live preview with materials, from a spotless render that can take hours of fiddling with small number and senseless parameter handling, to create... I'm an architect and I want immediate good results for my presentations and the package Sketchup+Artlantis delivers those results just fine. If only artlantis had a better bump control and displacement... P.S. Great job there! where did you get those 3d people they look great (although the girl IS on the edge of her sit...)

@earthmover said: Getting metals to pop in hypershot depends on the HDRI image. Try using one from the Dosch chrome series for a studio type shot, or get more creative and use a HDRI from an exterior scene to add realism. Here's a model of Bumblebee that I rendered in Hypershot a while back. You can get an idea of how the metals react to the HDRI in the scene. Thanks for your advice~~
