Sorry, missed this response, stuff happening and loudly. I will not be sending any scene's for a while as onepillockdrive is taking me up the wall. On my tenth circuit of wall, ceiling, wall, floor....... microsnot wanting me to reinstall the pillock drive to "Experience the full benefit of a properly functioning pc experience, it is only between £20 and £50 per month to home all my files on their 'super safe' servers". Is that Mehmed II (the "Conqueror") on the left? (This is not a "corner" but a whole room though ) And of course, like the whole setup.

Here's one of his images, just in case: [attachment=0:21v6hk3y]<!-- ia0 -->PONENT NOCHE 10.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:21v6hk3y] i looked up the link in this post and i really like the palm trees he used...can someone tell me how he did them? i would say they are made in photoshop? on the other hand somehow it looks rendered (judging by the 3d'ish optic and the shadows) Those are speed tree models - "real" 3D although behave in a level of detail mode. Part of the Lumion rendering application 3D library.

Thank you guys, I really find these jobs fun! @Michalis - mate I haven't edited SU vectors though I have vectors created native in Layout. Though do tend to avoid illustrator at all costs. I just don't find it user friendly!

I am a podium user and have love it. But looking at these I have to say I prefer the Vray render. The lighting and detail seem much crisper and warmer.

@chedda said: These plants & flamingo i believe are credited to Solo (here on the forum). They were available from his site as a paid download see plant pack 1. I have bought these and can say they are very well made. They are included in the Podium V2 Browser in 3D plants and I agree, they are extremely well done. I wish there were more of that quality.

My suggestion is find a view without the fence blocking the house and pick a good sun location/time of the day so you have a better shadows for your render.. Another one is pick another shade that will compliment your brown color but will stand out with the rest of the colors... Play around with the materials and colors and you'll surely have a wonderful scene here.... allanx

@carloh said: i don't know if this is the right place to ask, but i'll give it a shot. i'm using sketchup 8 and the maxwell render plugin for it. i wanted to create spots like the ones in this interior shots. the thing is, that i don't know how to create such light cones with it. when i place an emitter they only bring diffuse light. do i have to build the spot like in reality with a reflector insinde to create a lightcone? or is it simply not possible to do that with the "cheap" plugin for sketchup and i would have to get the full render suite? sorry for my noobish questions, i'm kinda new to the material. Hello Carloh, I have used emmisive material (to light up the lamp (halogen) and used IES files to create the light effect in most of these renders. Have a look at the IES files here: http://www.smfcreativegroup.com/blog1/2012/04/24/ies-light-files-for-vray-and-mental-ray/ I also found this tutorial, maybe it help...I am not familiar with Maxwell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JG36nAWc6M&feature=relmfu Good luck.

Beautiful render, but that is one healthy girl in the last picture. She must be about 12 feet tall.
