For vegetation you might want to team up with the Skatter plugin (Lindale). Again, it would be neat if you could team up with the Twilight Render team. Chris and Fletch are excellent guys. Your product is looking pretty darn good and they were trying to come up with an updated version of TR but are stepping aside so your team and theirs might be able to combine for a superior product. At some time in the future it would be neat if a render product could publish your renders on a format that would allow them in full 3D format so that viewers could see them in full 3D (rotate, zoom, and navigate).

@l i am said: Thanks Rich, I do not fully understand what you mean When you say my model is not set up for the tweaking you suggest. Are you saying bevel all corners? and also the sugested variations. I do not see much lattitude for that in this model, could you explain further please/ Look at the mesh density. The fencing has tons of geometry but doesn't feature in the render. The walls, doors, windows are all one piece. Its just not setup to work with easily. Nothing in the world is 100% sharp at the corners. But trying to go in and add bevels now is just a chore and time consuming. I suppose what I am saying is the basic model is lacking geometric detail which makes it hard level up. The lights have 13k entities but the house has 1.3k entities. Not saying the house should have more than the light but there's a massive gap in detail that stands out to me. The pavers if you slightly rotate them in random directions by less than 1deg and vary the height will cause light to hit them differently. Just subtle little adjustments that are common in the real world.

I've been following your Woes thread. I think you need to go back to the point of sale. Something is off with that device. Not something to find a solution to online. Use your warranty to get it resolved because your rig is a beast.

This is a sketch concept of the basic superstructur of streesed concrete. I am sure it is over engineered and would need a pretty serious flexable joint. I must add that I usually do not support unsafe work practice [image: Ll7u_Sml.jpg]

It is early doors yet, respecting geometry is low on the agenda but obviously can be improved. I had a model rendered where a barbecue was turned into a window/door and another where it was turned into a light source. Early doors though and it does have promise. Question I have is where it leaves dedicated render programs. For me, I would rather have full control over atributes and light elements but I can see it (Diffusion) being very popular.

@marked001 said: I'm a big proponent of 2 point perspective.. so I like the first better Thanks for your opinion. It is interesting that when I posted the image (Parrellism on) in trimble forum somebody critisised, saying it did not look good because it did not have 3 point pesective and took the time to post images showing the concept of two point and 3 point pespective ( concepts I fully understand) I would appreciate the comment from others on this. Might just be personal peception I don't know

@majid said: Beautiful portfolio. What is your rendering engine for the ship animation? Thanks! I used Raylectron for the animation. I then added the sound effect and music in Filmora. Check the longer final version.

Thanks folks. Maybe I could get more work if I moved to Vietnam. About 40 years ago, most of the architectural renderings were either water color or colored pencil. I was trying to learn colored pencil techniques to that end but whatever illustrative presentation were just elevations on mylar and technical pens. The rest of my work was drafting. From land surveys, to civil engineering to structural engineering. Planning and at an architect's office which was 2D drafting. Started doing non-photo real rendering around the mid 2000s and I was charging $500 per rendering. Of course I spent far more billable time than $500 with all the details. I needed the work and the experience or practice. Most of my work remains drafting. I starting doing more photo-real rendering using Kerkythea. I finally got Thea Render only a few years ago. I tried V-Ray but it kept crashing on me. D5 Render is really good for doing fast work. I like setting things up with Thea now and rendering in D5. It's difficult to get rendering work. Last week someone wanted a rendering. For $350. I would have done it for $600 since I already did the model for the architect. I've gotten anywhere from $500 to $2,500 (USD) for architectural renderings. At one point I really needed work and did some non-photo real for container homes. For a mere $100. I can't think of any way to stand out to get rendering work. If it's not outsourcing it seem like real estate investors aren't even interested in renderings anymore. Architectural firms are just using Revit generated renderings which for the most part look amateurish.

@rich o brien said: I was close to saying AI generated but I wasn't sure. It was the windows and panelling that looked off. If you tried to match that with a render the time needed would be chunky! It failed with the leg style though. But overall impressive. Especially your later share. It seems things especially on the perimeters of the image get painted with a large brush. And you're right about it failing with the legs. Maybe with better prompts. I haven't tried any other AI image generators so I don't know how they compare. Here's another I did yesterday. The original. [image: 53384889175_a0e4194a63_b.jpg] Part of the prompt indicated stucco patches on old brick wall. I got these. [image: 53384453296_aec9ae07f3_b.jpg] [image: 53384764434_604112c340_b.jpg] I like my brick wall texture better but like you say, in the right hands it is pretty amazing. And certainly for no more time than I have invested in the images, it's hard to complain too much. Well, except for the stucco that looks like it was made from a wedding dress.
