[quote="chrisjk"]Click on View > Hidden geometry, to reveal all hidden lines in the model. I suspect you softened your lines using the eraser tool rather than hiding your lines - otherwise a simple "Unhide " will work. Click on View > Hidden geometry, to reveal all hidden lines in the model. Now you can see the lines, select the ones you want to see and right click for the context menus - click "Unsoften". Thank you.

Thank you very much...drawing a line around the whole object and then erasing the end piece allowed me to then push/pull it out.

Jerry, I use CleanUp2 all the time and I've never had it explode anything. We'll probably never know now what really happened to your model but it would be interesting, if you redraw it and try again. Save the file first and then run the extension.

Generally dimensions in LayOut become unlinked from the end points when copied and pasted. It's best to not copy and paste them. If you absolutely must do so, explode them first. Then the numbers will remain the same. What version of SketchUp and LayOut are you using. Fill out your profile, please.

ThomThom's Edge Tools might do what you need. I think there's another one, too. Ah yes, Fredo6's Curvizard.

Moved from the SketchUp Bugs forum because this is not about a bug. Where the heck do you get your false information, garystan? SketchUp 8 was "phased out" years ago. There's now been four versions of SketchUp since SketchUp 8. At least Kerkythea and the SU2KT extension would still work with SketchUp 8, though. As Unearthed mentioned, Trimble owns SketchUp and has done for a few years. And there is still a free version of SketchUp even with SketchUp 2016. It is called SketchUp Make.

John, Phenomenal! Thanks for providing a solution to my problem. May I ask for some additional detail as to why, from SU's viewpoint, the Home scene must have a Home layer as well as a Layer 0 to have all this work properly? Thanks, Jim

@frederik said: @garystan said: ...there's no mention on HOW to import .skp files into Kerkythea. That's because you can't open a .skp file directly in Kerkythea... You need to use the SU2KT plugin and as the manual clearly inform, export to the XML-format, which can be opened in Kerkythea... @garystan said: ...where do I Save the "exported" file (so Kerkythea can pick it up) ? Anywhere you want it to be... It's like asking, where do I save a .doc-file to be opened in MS Word... I suggest that you create a folder for each model, as all textures will get exported as separated texture files (e.g. in JPG format)... REPLY : Thanks for your reply. That would explain it. Right now, I'm using Sketchup 8. garystan

Seems each element must be a component! When all are in place they will ready for the rendering! Save the file "room.skp" for example in case of! Then you can render in your favorite program! Advantage to have some components : you can render only a selection of them if needing! (with Twillight)

Dave, you can use Zorro2 inside one group/component and slice that group without affecting the rest of the model. You can have the walls you want to be taller in one group and the walls you want to be shorter in another group. Apply one section to the first group and use Zorro2 and then apply a section to the second group and use Zorro2. It just a matter of choosing what to slice...

Seems your last file has problem! It's block the computer when you try to explode some components!
