There is another way... I have forgotten ist because in earlier versions the thumbnail preview in Windows was on skp files not working... But with the newest one it works perfect! i too prefer hsl, but i actually liked kerkythea (and gimp painter) color wheel triangle combination. I think that is the best one.

I try to download the file from fix4dll like in one of the comments but my antivirus don't allow it, so I download the same file from https://www.dllinstaller.com/dlls/mfc100u-dll and what to do next just put the file in the folder should that work?

Now I have found a way to use SU Layout also for other documents having pdf's: I have a pdf with paper size and scale as needed. Then save this image as a png file (with a high dpi resolution like 300). Then make the white color (for example the paperbackground) transparent. Then import this png in SU Layout, paper size must be same as the original pdf. Then scale the png in the upper left and under right corner. That'it, now the size is like importing a pdf. It's controlled by the Styles dialog because it's part of the style as is X-ray, Back Edges, Monochrome, etc.
