Pdf size

When saving a layout scene as a pdf the size is most very big. For example I saved today a scene 6 pages it has 15.5 MB. When saving this file with another pdf printer again as a pdf it has only 1.55 MB. I see no difference between them. This should be done better. The quality I saved the pdf in layout was medium. Even when saving it low quality the file has 10 MB but then I see really a difference in quality. -
This is true, though I have not had great luck in reducing the size afterwards, myself.
