RE: 2Gb of TEXTURES
Thanks for these !! They'll complete my own collection. Could be nice to have a repository for friendly SU textures !!

RE: Blender 2.5 Alpha 1
For me the challenge right now, is to find a way to make terrain from topo curves, in blender. I saw many tutorials, but I'm trying to find a process similar to the Sandbox in Sketchup...Sometines I'm tired with all SU gaps, so when I find time I'm trying to learn Blender, which seems to be the better alternative for me...for various reasons.

RE: Blender 2.5 Alpha 1
Thanks for that link dedmin !!
I'm also trying to learn Blender in order to complete my software panel, and was looking for some tutorials based on the 2.5.X versions !!

RE: Damn toolbars...
Damn...everything is against us...
EDIT : The better alternative I see, is to do the same thing that Fredo6 did with Tools on surface plugin where a "toolbar" appears at the top of main window (where we draw) with all the tools and options of the plugins...
This way, we could regroup tools and plugin by categories in order to have less toolbars displayed in SU.
EDIT : Or maybe doing something like in Blender, some contextual menu giving access to everything...but all those things should be develop by google again...

RE: Damn toolbars...
Humm another suggestion...Is that possible to insert a swf file in a webdialog ? I have some skills in AS3 that could allow me to create my own menu with flyouts...And is it possible to hide the window of a webdialog ?

RE: Damn toolbars...
I don't know if this solution as already been suggested, but would it be possible ?
This way we could have just a few toolbars...

RE: Damn toolbars...
Humm, if there's some ruby guru here or anyone else that is able to find a solution for thoses toolbars, I'm ready to pay for it !! And after that, I'll send the bill to Google...
Seriously, Is it asking too much to have just a decent UI ??

Really sorry guys, if I write this without any moderation
I'd say that post was very moderate compared to the likes before it.
Did not wanted to be censured...
Edit : And it's hard to express my anger in english...

Damn toolbars...
I know, I know...This has been discussed many times here on sketchucation forums, and on others forums...but today I'm really piss...off with those toolbars that are not able to stay in place...what the point to have a "pro" software if the UI is from stoneage...Even the poorest software has toolbars that stays in place...
So just a word to sketchup developement team : Is it that difficult to fix this bug, you've made lately some maintenance release, fine ! But I think that this elementary bug, far from being under a licence problem like the shadow bug, can be resolve !! Am I wrong ?
This bug was already there with @Last, and after many years...nothing is done !!?? What do we have to do as users in order that you can understand that !!!
Really sorry guys, if I write this without any moderation, but sometimes I think we've to remind essential things that way.
Regards.

RE: [Plugin] Repeat Copy UPDATED 2-24-2010
Nice plugin Chris, and as the others said, some options to randomize scale and/or rotation could be great.
Thanks anyway !!
