.
BTW, is there a SU importer for blender?
-
Not that i know of. You can always export as .dae and import that in to blender (dont know if 2.5 has got a .dae importer yet but 2.49 has.)

thx.

Ah, interesting. I actually managed to model something with the last pre-alpha. Thanks to helpful people here at the forum. I need to set aside some more time to play with this.

Thanks for that link dedmin !!
I'm also trying to learn Blender in order to complete my software panel, and was looking for some tutorials based on the 2.5.X versions !!

Yes, I'm in the same boat. There is a plugin to connect Blender with Indigo and SketchUp with Indidgo. The same with Kerkythea - so You can make your life easier. Using the UVTools 0.2 to fight difficult UV's in SketchUp with Blender's excellent UV tools and if You add MOI with it's excellent mesh export...

For me the challenge right now, is to find a way to make terrain from topo curves, in blender. I saw many tutorials, but I'm trying to find a process similar to the Sandbox in Sketchup...Sometines I'm tired with all SU gaps, so when I find time I'm trying to learn Blender, which seems to be the better alternative for me...for various reasons.
