RE: Roof Terrace
Jason, it is looking great, I like your brick textures, but there are 2 things I found strange: the ivy leaves look weird and IMHO the sky doesn't match 100% with the lighting... anyway it is a nice job done in a very little time...

RE: [WIP] turfstone pavers
hi guys!
here comes another test image, same scene tested at night time...
for this one used a HDRI for illumination, the lamp is the HEB II 150-150 model from TAL (technical architectural lighting)
hope you like it

RE: A Wall Cabinet
hi! I don't know how KT works, but with other software it's possible to override reflections, especially if in the scene there's nothing but only the object that's casting the reflections...
here comes a link to a tutorial, it's for 3D max but I think the final result shows how the reflections were improved by HDRIhttp://www.cgrats.com/using-hdr-images-for-reflections.html
hope it is helpful

RE: [WIP] turfstone pavers
hi guys, thanks for your comments!!!
solo, the grass is done with maxwell's grass feature, I think it is not possible to apply a collision control, but I did some corrections to the density map to correct the issue...
massimo, much appreciated

RE: IRender nxt?
hi, other good option could be maxwell render standalone plugin for sketchup, there's a free version with certain limitations and for US $95.00 you can get the licensed version of the plugin... it renders within skethup so no geometry importing-exporting needed and it's so simple and easy to use

RE: My first Maxwell interior. Advise is very welcome!
hi Pieterv,
it looks great in my opinion...
if you are using maxwell standalone plugin for sketchup, then in the 'maxwell scene manager' / 'output'/ 'burn'. reduce the burn value to reduce overexposition...
I would suggest to correct the verticals of your perspective using 2 point perspective and shifting lens in Y axis...

RE: Cassette
Chedda it is looking really nice, I agree the plastic needs some scratches and add a Bic ballpoint pen to the image
