The only suggestion that immediately came to mind was possibly using face me type foliage components set up for predetermined scenes.
I assume you have "purged unused", and so forth?

It is also not necessary to explode that grid. You can retain the Group and edit it using the Smoove tool. But that is up to you. The Group helps to isolate it from other geometry that you create.

RE: Searching for animation
Hi, emerald:
I do one of two things to search.
See right up there at the top of the page next to the Upgrade button and your name?
If you type some keywords and Enter, results will open in another page. Many will be related to topics in Sketchucation.
Alternatively, in my browser(Firefox) I click the + tab, then type in keywords. Google happens to be my default search engine. Here you will get similar results, however, I believe this opens up the scope of the search.
Obviously, bookmarking is another way to retain it.
Does this answer your other questions? -
RE: URGENT !how to match/synchronize sketchup camera settings wi
You might want to re-post this in the Vray subforum, or edit your title to show the connection with Vray. There are quite a few folks who can help you if they can see this is Vray related.

RE: Pocket Park
Hi, Bryan:
Looking really good. I am still watching.
I like the waterfall wall idea. May create the illusion that the adjacent building is melting -

Can't believe it would be that expensive.

RE: Crystal curtain ideas
Hi:
I presume you are using Components and copies of these to populate your file? If so, are the strands hi poly? These could be simply 4 facets.
There may be other conditions, but this is what came to my mind. -

RE: [Poll] - engineer this table
I know you'll be careful, but 1" minimum coverage on the steel might result in "telegraphing"? Anyway, 6000psi is mighty strong.

RE: FROM MAX AND BLENDER TO SKETCHUP
Hi, haithan:
Welcome.
Rather than let this post sink into oblivion, I thought to provide some suggestions.I do not have Max and Blender at this time. But, I vaguely recall in past discussions in this forum that there may be some setting options you need to select prior to export. If not that, then some setting for import into Sketchup. If not that, then the stuff is arriving as either groups or components, which need to be edited or exploded. But doing this may affect any materials or textures you have established.
Hopefully, someone with this expertise will notice and help you.
As a matter of courtesy, it is better to type in standard case, rather than all caps or uppercase.
Best wishes to you.

RE: Populate with objects
You might try component spray by Didier Bur, I believe. Not sure if it has been updated.
There may be other similar plugins. -
RE: [Plugin] UVEditor 0.30
Probably not relevant, but has this been designed for SU 2013 and 2014, also?

Hi, Simon:
Welcome to the forum.
The answers to your questions, generally, is Yes.But, if you take some time to peruse this site from the Board Index, or do keyword searches either internally or on the web, you will see a wealth of information to explore that is Sketchup related.
Also, for instance, take a look at the Gallery subforum here to see what folks are doing with Sketchup and rendering programs.
As you will discover, there are members from all over the world, including New Zealand.Again, welcome.
