one method would be similar to how automobile modelers do wheels and tires with tread. that is, if you need the detail as edges and faces. if you do not need that, then it would be better to use a texture representing repetitive wave effect. look on you tube, for instance, to see the modeling of tires with treads.

RE: Copy w/Base Point
In a way you can. Group the data you wish to copy. Ctrl x or c. Open the file into which you wish the group to be inserted. Ctrl V. Because it is grouped, it can be dropped, picked up again by another snap point and placed. This is a lot of circumlocution, for a simple process. I am assuming you are talking about the related technique used in Autocad, for instance. I use this quite often, as well as the Sketchup procedure I just described. Of course, there may be other variations.

RE: Guys I need your help!!!
Hi, Mahdi:
This may be a geographical/regional setting in the program having to do with your location or source of your download. I do not know off hand where you reset this, but I believe it is adjustable -
RE: Curviloft 92% popup won't go away
sometimes it may take longer than you think for the process. unfortunately, you did not attach your image and so this is just a guess.

RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
Hi.
In the time it takes me to put these thoughts together, it is likely someone else will post some of the same things. I am not an expert, and I suggest you get more than one opinion on the following info. I also waited a couple of days in case someone else responded:I didn't look too hard at your links.
However, the flavor might be so tart that it is causing the cough. Does a sneeze follow the cough? I get that sometimes, and I am now down to zero mg.
Are you allergic to propylene glycol? Allergy to this is a common factor. Unless your juice is maximum ratio glycerine(typically flavors are mixed with minimal PG as a carrier/solvent, so there may always be some PG).
Could 6mg nicotine/ml juice be too much to start? Then get some 0mg and mix down with different ratios, if you have the time to fiddle with it.
Some flavors are more delicate than others and don't need extreme power to deliver the taste, so:
Have you set the voltage/wattage too high, or, if you have temperature control, is this set too high?
If you have other questions you might check out ecf or: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com Just about every question since 2008 or thereabout has been explored.
Maybe the above will help.

RE: What's In Your Attic ?
I am having difficulty determining whether there is glass in this window scene? If it is intended in a later version?

RE: Installing sketchup and net framework
Hi.
The issue in your first paragraph is not within my skillset.
The issue in your second paragraph suggested TIG's Section Cut Face. That plugin has been around a few years. It basically builds a plane on the Sketchup section plane you designate.
I think that's right. Or, I have found another item not in my skillset. -
RE: Hmmm (Google Earth)
Hello, Peter:
You may already have discovered this link. https://www.gearthblog.com/contact
I have posted technical questions to this blog in the past and received fairly prompt replies. I recognize that you are just making an observation, but, for what it is worth, there's the link.
Best Regards,

RE: Who's been how long.
Well, I took a moment and looked at my member profile. It says I joined in March 2008, back when Coen was looking for a place to stay for one of the Base Camp events and Gaieus (Csaba) was active.
I learned so much from this forum and was truly amazed at how friendly everyone was that I felt compelled to give back by offering whatever information I could to those who asked.
I have been less active here in the last couple of years due to changes in work and so forth, but I still check in from time to time.
Best Regards to all.

RE: Label and Tabs feature for models in sketchup
Hello:
Look in Sketchucation Plugin Store for "Flattery" by Pumpkin Pirate. The description seems to fit your need. Otherwise, a related possibility in the 3d printing Category search list. The 3d printing Category list is fairly short, but one of the titles seems to fit your request. -
RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
Hi, Rich:
I am doing fine. I have been keeping an eye on you folks, just not able to hang out as much. -
RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?

RE: Budget plugin
hello:
I took a wild guess that you may be talking about Bills of Materials or Cutlists. If so, look in the Pluginstore for those terms or look for authors "Inteloide"(BGSketchup), or "ishboo"
If these are not what you meant, please pardon the interference.
Best regards,

RE: Cyber Monday Trees
Old.
Well, relatively speaking. Win7 64bit SP1 Intel Xeon CPU W3565 6GB Ram Nvidia Quadro FX580. I might mention also that this system does not render some of the link buttons properly and uses some proxy fonts for some of the text on this and other SU pages. For example up at the top of the page, there is the group of buttons for Settings, Messages, Posts etc. The buttons are little boxes with little letters in them. So it is with the Login button at above right. They work, but they don't look right. Actually that is an old problem that I contacted Gabor about in the past.
Edit: I use Firefox currently at v42 -
RE: Dwg to sketch up
Hi:
It is difficult to tell from the illustrations, but it appears as if some of your vectors may not be on the z= zero ground plane? Maybe post some other views? -
RE: Cyber Monday Trees
Hi, Rich:
I am at my workplace viewing this thread. When I clicked on your illustration/example/model it disappeared, but the viewing controls were available. Can you clarify what may be causing this? I am on a network computer, if that has any bearing.
(Remove this post if necessary.)
Respectfully,

RE: Dividing welded arcs!
Hi:
I thought TIG had developed one and it should be in the pluginstore. Possibly also Fredo6. It has been a long time.
