you don't confuse but they had surely a little clause text existing somewhere who said
we reserve the right to change the commercial policy of the product at any time! 😉
Back in the dim and foggy days of the past when an engineering office I was drafting supervisor in, was slowly switching from manual to CAD drafting-Autocad was the sole tool of the drafting department. We were finding some of the younger guys were cadding their own drawings and handing them in to get ‘cleaned up’ by the drafting dept. Of course the drawings were a mess as the ‘engineers’ couldn’t be bothered to learn or adhere to CAD standards. It was like cleaning up a kitchen after the gourmet chef has used every pot and pan to create his masterpiece. When I objected to their boss that they were using ‘our’ tool to create drawings (a fine line in a unionized position where the tool defined our job spec) he wondered Why are they using AutoCad? I told him – because they can.
So I guess the sign on the wall is We Can therefore We Will.
No problem-sometimes you just need something specific and if its something a client already has or will buy, it makes the model personal.
It doesn't have to be a pillow shape for the image file as long as its a clear, flat (no distortion)view of the fabric
The panorama file output is a new option in the Renderer that I used - Brighter3D so I don't think the plugins would affect anything but I'll have a look-thanks.
Also, if you have a Simlab Composer version compatible with your Sketchup version: download the SU14 version, open in Simlab Composer and save as a .skp
An update for anyone wanting to create a ’Catalogue’ of skp thumbnails using Mootools 3d Browser.
It may not be the best process but it works just great for my requirements.
Open directory of thumbnails in Mootools
Print to OneNote
Save resulting Print file as a PDF
Thanks to JuJu for reminding me that I have Mootools. ☀
I did contact Mootools Techsupport and they responded:
"No there is no way to export using V8 version. This is an idea to add to an upcoming version"
But I can work with my convoluted path for now to get these results. It's been a hit and miss search for quite a while so this is progress-for sure!
