Many softwares kindly offer a small checkbox to untick if you don't want to see the home screen appear at each new opening.
I feel like an intrusive injonction the way the SketchUp Make starting screen ask me to say hello!

Hi Elmer, no apologies required And reasonable complaints, but alas that seems to be the way things are going. Main thing is we have had years of Sketchup being owned by google that had a different objective, not entirely commercial. Unfortunately we will have to get used to Trimble or move on. I am not sure Trimble is reading the market correctly, but I may be wrong.

How many people in this forum think they may be or are Dyslexic? I am curious. I am trying to find out if the correlation between being Dyslexic and 3D and design abilities and see if it manifests
disproportionately with 3D modelling users.

Beutifull looking heater. I am skeptical though. 1500W in= 1500W out is the rule I would think would apply. Does it have a certified energy rating?

To me it sounds like the marketing speak of other similar flat panel heaters on TV infomercials I have seen. About 2 years ago in Australia, they were no longer allowed to make those claims of eficency for flat panel heaters.

Hi, have been a bit lazy of late but have been working on a model and render of an apartment building.
The image is straight out of the renderer with no proscessing. Its OK, but I will bite the bullitt and will have to learn PS as to get anything half descent I need to have complex lighting which slows everything down (a lot) and takes my patients to the limit.
