I'll comment again probably where I have no business , but I expressed concern some time ago related to issues with plugins probably costing Google support dollars and if the the issues raised are not brought under control you may will find your self where Google will impose requirements you may not like. Dan Rathburn tried but don't think he had much success. Secondly: When one talks about problems and SU blame that's very generic and you have to worry memory snd system also. For a 32 bit machine , that means you can only address 4GB but SU only gets 2GB9 If you have 4GB RAM) because the way the MS memory manager works. Even if you have a 64 bit machine and tons of memory SU will still only be allocated 4 GB even though 64B allows much more address than that. Some of these strange artifacts can very well be memory issues. When you have problems watch the task manager and see and understand what it is reporting. Win xp, vista etc are not all the same. See this link if you have some spare time and want to under stand virtual memory, which is what programs get to use, and physical memory. I'm afraid I'm not as good as Oli at photoshop - true result- but rubbish compared to some of the scores that others are getting on the site.

seems awfully small, but if windows/osx can recognise it as a second screen you should be able to use it for SU stuff. I imagine itd be good for leaving the component browser etc. on and so save a bit o space in the main window.

Tig Thanks for the info and the help. However, I found the script I was looking for, ConsDeleteContext.rb, which is one of your scripts. I just forgot that it is a context selected script. So now I am working again. Maybe I will make a small database with all the scripts that I have or can find, and enter just what they do, who made the script and how to activate the script. ah, ok. Another thing to note is that I only tried 3d export, and I only exported a model that was drawn in 2d. So I have not tried 2d export at all. Perhaps it is not working. I'll check it on my machine when I get a chance, but my guess is that I will get your same results - no consutruction geometry. Chris EDIT: I haed acciedntaly mistyped a 3d and 2d....it is all typed as it should be now.

Chris Thanks for the very quick reply. Sometimes one just forgets all the tools available. However, what I was trying to do. I work with plate steel panels. I align copies of each panel to the front view, arranging all the panels in order. I like to make sure they are all aligned correctly before I make a ACAD export. Also I need to be in the parallel projection view before exporting. I have noticed that if I use the section view, and starting on no particular panel, most of the time not all the panels will show up in the section view, or sometimes just part of the panel. So my reasoning was that they were not all at the same position. So I wanted the plugin so I could go around to each corner and have a text message showing the position. I like using the “Export Section Slice” as a DWG. This way I don’t have to hide the rest of the model and I can be selective about what I want exported. The elevation plugin works on groups, however, the TEXT menu option only gives the info when the plate section is exploded. Thanks for your reply Ken
