L i am, I didn't like that stone texture but the HOA/Arch Review had a little episode about the texture I first had not exactly matching the sample. This was as close as I could find. I added a second iteration above with a different stone texture. I could spend countless hours on this.

Some more than others. Vertex Tools to adjust the topo. Instant Roof to put in the basic roof. The vegetation are all Thea proxies.

This took a long time and also had to revise the roof after the first comments. They finally approved the design last week so it took two passes.

Andreu World Furniture has a lot of great upscale furniture available in CAD drawings you can download and convert in Sketchup. Pulldown under products.

Something is buggy with the shortcuts in preferences because I can sometimes search for "explode" and find it and apply a shortcut and then when I restart SU it can't find "explode." Scrolling to Edit/Item/Explode will show up sporadically.

Make sure you click the "+" sign to the right of the shortcut and then click OK.

All clear on my end now. Was showing a trojan from Windows Defender from 2 days ago but after clearing my Defender history it stopped showing that. Must have been Gremlins!

I got one too using Windows Defender. Might be a "false positive" bug. I don't know.

That's from a direct Defender scan of the rbz. Was also giving the warning when installing from SU extension manager.

Is it normal for Sketchup (SU 2022 Pro) to create a bugsplat log upon startup for every session? I'm not getting a bugsplat but it's created a log in my temp directory and the log itself is empty. Something I may or may not have ever noticed in the past and may not be a bug. Thanks.

Thanks Rich. They want an exact match which is rather unusual especially for something like stone. The material I use now is Brick Old 04 from Poligon. Some clients seem to think you can create assets at the press of a button.

I didn't but I'll look later. Might be too rustic. I've been using a material from poliigon.com which I thought was close enough but apparently there's someone at the homeowner's association with nothing better to do.

I didn't know where to post this but I'm looking from someone to create a more accurate stone veneer texture for a rendering I'm working on for home owner's association. Is there a website or someone on here that would be able to assist me in this matter?

Open up Ruby Console.

Extension: Developer: Ruby Console.

Leave it open and it will pop up every time you start up SU. Go through whatever process you're doing and see if there are any warnings, etc. Then post them here.

I was having problems with Extension Store yesterday and got stuck in this continuous loop trying to load a lot of Fredo's plugins. I backtracked and installed it the traditional way and it worked.

Probably not related but SU 2022 requires .NET Framework version 4.5.2. I guess anything might help when troubleshooting.

Additionally, sometimes incompatible plugins can cause a lot of problems. Try the Ruby Console for the time being.

Everything is up to date.

After fumbling around I'm all set now and everything is licensed.

After getting stuck in a rabbit hole using Sketchucation Tools it does load and work but then as I started I can't get it to validate the license that I purchased as SCF_Purchased_License_RoundCorner_NORMAL_20220401.scflicense.

It's looking for FredoCorner.scflicense

The rbz is FredoCorner_v2.5a.rbz which is the latest and the library is also the latest.

Try giving thomthom: CleanUp v3.4.3 a shot.

Be sure and leave "Erase Hidden Geometry" and "Erase Stray Edges" unchecked which can delete hidden groups, components and line work you may have.

Run it twice. Make sure to save a duplicate file first. Like Dave said it could be anything but this sometimes worked for me.

Through getting a new computer and dealing with an OS crash yesterday I have 0 seats left for my license. It's showing 3 seats of 3 used with 0 left and I only use one seat. What should I do?

I tried it with another image and it was working fine. Then I saved another image from the PDF (site plan) and it also worked normally. So I went back to the one that I couldn't explode and it was back to normal. Very strange things happening.
