Voodoopad looks like a Mac only thing and Evernote looks like it needs an iPhone or equivalent. I really want something that doesn't take screen real estate and doesn't require leaving the application I'm working in at the moment.

So far the "Magic Slate" seems to be the only thing that will work for me. At least they're cheap.

Jerry, Layout does an awful lot more than just make a PDF file from SketchUp. You should check it out.

No need to quit. I found after a bit of searching, the image, below. I used WinTopo to make a DXF file which I then imported into SU.

Pilou, you're getting more and more abstract. I like it. We could call it Mona in Ice. 😄

Here are a couple of others. The first wasn't so quick but it is anatomically correct. Every part was drawn in. Probably the largest model file size I ever done.

And this little cabinet was done for Fine Woodworking. It was drawn so they could make plans in PDF format to distribute along with a video series running on the website. I made a bunch of scenes for them and they exported the images to make the plans.

This might be true, but there is a MAJOR gotcha. You have to have administrative privileges on the host machine.

Kinda defeats the purpose.

Something called MojoPac Usher can be installed on the host machine, but you have to have administrative privileges on the host machine to do so.

Too bad, this could have been very useful!

Do you think perhaps the middle panel attaches to top bar closer to the front? That deep edge looks uncomfortable (being someone who is taller). Hard to tell from the sample.
