Just something I banged out today. All I need are some spline ducks and I'm set.

On this drawing table Mr. Herreshoff designed many beautiful boats. The table is 9 feet long and three feet front to back. The single draw under the top was used to hold sheets for the project as he worked. It is held together entirely with pegs and black iron lag screws, the latter of which I didn't bother drawing in.

Looks great Dave. I like the line style.

I had to Google "Spline Ducks" http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/03/r/articles/splineducks/splineDucks.htm, wasn't sure if they were related to Mallards.

I think I have my zoology wrong, I thought spline ducks were called whales.

            Thank you Gasher.

Roger, I think there might be some distant genetic relationship since these ducks commonly look like whales. πŸ˜‰

Here's a link to a 3000 pixel-wide shot. I think it looks kind of neat but my monitor isn't big enough to see the whole thing. πŸ˜’

I'm not that "SU sketchy style fan" myself but often, when looking at your models I wish I were. Somehow it gives so much to any drawing (of course, the model is also cool but that's no particular wonder from you πŸ˜‰ )

                Gai...

Thank you very much Csaba. That really means alot to me.

I guess the sketchy styles can get to be a little too much but I like the hand drawn look better than the plain old SketchUp style.
