    I usually keep Entity Info Panel hanging on the right side of the main window. When I need to name groups, I just type in there, easy... unless you work on a laptop, then you have a real estate problem.

    They haven't gotten rid of the drag and drop feature. It works for me on both Mac and PC. Check the folder to which you are trying to drag the component and make sure permissions are set so all can read AND write to it.

    Use the axis tool to localize ea line before making ea group (to fix - explode -make axes along the line - make group - repeate for ea line) Boxes should be gone.

    I apologise for going AWOL, i posted this in work (while looking for the solution) and then went and took an extended weekend. Anyway, you guys are incredible - Pilou, your method is perfect for a gentle column angle and Takesh h, your method of using the intersect curve from Round Corners.rb will prove perfect for more acute angles and Box, your advice about trying to take a component and re-use is well heeded. Your collective enthusiasm to help us mere mortals is inspiring. I admit I was hoping for a quick fix plug-in (since I have about 25 unique geometry columns to model) but both your steps are very clear and reproducible so shouldn’t take too much time… as long as the scheme doesn’t keep changing like it did today Oh, and Rich O Brien, the Blender demo makes me wish we used something more advanced than SK in my office. Cheers all!

    Well, a car might be smooth, yet technically hard... but a pillow may be soft and not hard yet still smooth... Too literal?

    You can also use the Quick Lathe by Trogluddite No more problem of find a perpendicular face,...etc...! Just draw the axe of rotation! Careful select only the surface and not surface + the perimeter! At the end you can move the cap surface with surprise result! A very, very funny plugin!     Downloaded it and couldn't find any problems. Some suggested corrections/changes: the meeting rail on the upper and lower sashes should align (on a traditional window, the are narrower than the other stiles and rails. Likewise on traditional windows the bottom rail on the bottom sash is wider than the others. But I noticed on most vinyl windows this isn't the case.) Create a generic color such as "window frame" for the frame and sashes so people can simply edit it to get the desired color, without having to repaint the components. Likewise with the window glass.

    I had the same problem. This is how I fixed it: Go to: Control Panel > Internet Options Security tab: Click the "Custom level..." button Scripting -> Active scripting -> Enable -> OK
