As far as 1001bit goes, it may be set to pop up that message even if there've been no changes to its toolbar. I don't use it so I don't know for sure.

keknor, did dukejazz's suggestions help you? You may have to type the file extension [.stl] at the end of the filename after you export it, since the exporter doesn't always do that automatically.

On PCs... if there is a folder named ' Plugins' inside the special subfolder C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014 then that is added to the $: [aka $LOAD_PATH] and then as SketchUp starts its contents [if any] are auto-loaded for ANY user... However, the AutoInstall tool of SketchUp will always use the User's own 'Roaming' Plugins folder! BUT using the AutoInstaller in the SketchUcation PluginsStore's dialog [or its Archive Installer menu item] will see that additional folder and prompt you to select the main Plugins folder OR that 'shared-folder' as the installation's destination - thus allowing an AutoInstall into any selected folder...

I find it very unintuitive, that it is visually a part of the Shadow dialog box, but isn't included in the scene settings under shadows. I just stumbled onto this by mistake, but nearly did a sun/shadow-analysis with 5 or 10 scenes showing the shadows 1 hour wrong (DST). This might, worst case scenario, have resulted in lawsuits regarding loss of an hour of evening sun, as a result of a building being built on incorrect documentation. I get stuck in this mindset that everyone wants perfectly flat planes (because that's what I'm always looking for!), so I guess it depends what kind of results he wants and whether he wants to move in-between programs.

Did you just copy the plugins over from an older SketchUp installation? If so, go into the Plugins folder and delete the files related to them and install freshly downloaded version. It looks like you need to get fresh copies of: bezierspline artisan joint push/pull LibFredo6 TT_Lib2 Vertex Tools FredoScale

I figured this out!! This may help someone else ... You have to rightclick on the program icon, run as administrator, open the model, then claim credit. (This for those in the pc world)

...aaaaand as of turning the machine on this morning, the problem has resolved itself. White box, black text, all is well. No apparent connection to any intervention, on my part. I'll take it.

i tried in firefox, google chrome, seamonkey, internet explorer 11, and directly through sketchup, always i get same error, and yes i'm logged with my gmail account while i try to download/install plugin.
