Raked Walls and Cutting Planes
-
Hi All
I have referred in the past to Dave Richards video on 'mitered moldings' where he uses a cutting plane to create the miter on a molding. I always forget how to do it and need to refer back to the video. It is now unavailable on the 'design-click-build' site for some reason. Does anybody know where I can find it?
My current issue is I'm trying to draw raked or angled walls. One end of the room is 8' tall and the other is 12' tall and there are some other interior walls as well. The only way I can think of how to do this is to draw all the walls at 12' and then use a cutting plane to slice the walls at the correct angle but I can't quite figure out how to do it. Using the trim function in the solid tools doesn't seem to work because it seems my walls (that I made a component) is not a solid. Any ideas on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Steve,
Sorry that video isn't available. I think it got vaporized into the ether unfortunately. I sent you an e-mail, though.
