Hi Chuck, I think I may know what is going on with this issue. I believe your images have an exif (common to digital cameras) format - true? If so, we have finally isolated a bug with exif formatted images. Those images can display correctly on the Mac but fail to display on the PC. Unfortunately, the only workaround that I have found is to save the images with a different format. We are working on this issue though. Does that help? Best regards, Tricia

besides that, the move tool would still be important for moves to where there is no reference (then you would enter a distance in the VCB) and for copying, of course.

gai and dan, i apologise for my moment of stupidity. of course i know the move/copy sequence but somehow i totally forgot the control+C way. what i was probably after is something like there is in vectorworks: control+D duplicates the object and leaves it on the same spot. then you can move it by a specific distante through a dialog box. but one can do basically the same with move/copy. sorry and thanks.

And many thanks to Rick W, of course, for "selectatstart" and many other fine scripts!

I have been having this same problem since at least 10-5-07, when I first filed a bug report. I have reported this bug twice, and the Sketchup team was not helpful either time. The first time, they told me to update to the latest version, even though I was already on the latest version. The second time, they told me it this problem occurs after Sketchup crashed. Which has not been my experience. I am on Leopard and a Macbook Pro. edit: I am using only Wifi, and am using the latest version of Sketchup.

Hey Craig, Sounds like an amazing job opportunity -- I am VERY interested! I tossed my resume on the pile as well... looking forward to hearing back/getting some more info.

AndyC, I experienced the same with ATi HD 2xxx series cards... not the best solution to use with SU... For my new machine I chose a Nvidia Quadro (FX2500 / 512MB). It works perfectly for SU.

I thin we would all like to know sometimes how long we have spent on a model. I bet the reality is quite different to your perception! I shall buy this script.

Well thanks guys, I really thought I had tried that before, but I never did because I thought it always would say "Save As" instead of "Save Link As". For some reason i thought that "Save Link As" would save the internet address. Thanks again. I should have known better.

OK, thanks. I know some features do not change with the axis change (they stick to the original global axes) I didn't remember this was one.

@j_forrester said: Thanks for the replys, as for the second request I was trying to extrude multiple polygons in one go instead of having to extrude to a specific height then have to double click the next polygon to extrude to the same height. Basically I wanted to be able to pick say 1o different polygons and extrude them all in one go. Thanks again. Sounds similar to what I had requested in this post http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=4606 A partial solution would be to explode the polygons (components) and extrude (move command, actually) them. Sorry to only offer a partial solution!

@lostboy30a said: @lostboy30a said: Hi, I'm here because I want to use the woodworking template for railway modelling in terms of shaped plywood scenic baseboards. I came across a red notice on one board about deactivating an adblocker, so I did so. It's made no difference in terms of not being able to see members posted pictures. I even took the precaution of logging off and logging back in again but to no avail. Please can someone advise about this? This actually gets even more odd. I chose to click on the warning banner, and lo and behold I got into the poster's pictures for that particular reply. This isn't the case on other posts that just have the photo title greyed out, and no warning banner. Screenshot the behaviour...
