Yes that does help! I thought it rendered it as a 3d object and couldn't work out how to save it!! Haha. Hopefully I'll have more success now! Thank you

How are you bringing in your old plugins for 2014? When I went to 2015 I had to fresh install everything. No copy and pasting from the Plugins folder, that was too messy. Fresh install every plugin from the Extension Warehouse and the SketchUcation toolbar. Its painful at first but a good clean way to start with 2015.
valerostudio, what you say is right.
I wouldn't be paying a render farm then. The point is to get it cooked in a hour or less. If I was going to wait 3 days, I would do it myself. I thought Rebus was working with Chaos on getting their farm to work? I'll check in with them.

Turn off Default Lights in the Globals.
It worked, I don;t have shadows from sun.
But I have too much light in the drawing and I don't know where it comes from.

The antialias filter value needs to be 1.2, 1.5 or 1.8 for smooth results. Also set up the settings in DMC Sampler, such as Noise Thresh to 0.01 or 0.005, Max subdivs to 15.
Youll need to pack the scene and share it with any other designer on a Mac. To do this you can go to Extensions> V-Ray> Pack scene. V-Ray will collect all necessary assets and then place them in a local folder. This is the best way to share the file with another user.
For a mirror, it's what material is applied to the surface that matters, not whether an object is a solid or a face. As far as the reflection/refraction scene settings, this was done many, many versions ago, and I don't know where the settings are currently found.
Problem solved!
Seems like when Shadow Radius is >0 the physical size of the spotlight component affects shadows. By increasing the size of the component itself I was able to obtain the shadows that I were looking for.
