OK somehow i managed to post this in the wrong category - can a mod move it to the Bugs section please?

Hi guys - been struggling with an issue for days now with no luck. I also posted this in the vray forum but no luck, so i figured the Bug section may be more appropriate.

Just upgraded to Sketchup pro 2015 from 2014 and as soon as i install vray (the latest demo version at this stage) it causes a bug splat any time i try to open or save a sketchup file. Even trying to save a blank file it will error.

If i double click on a skp file it will open, but i am not able to save it.

If i uninstall vray it works fine. if i disable the vray extension it will still bug splat.

This is on windows 7 64bit.

I have tried everything can think of; uninstalled and reinstalled countless times, search both the hard disk and registry for any references to vray or sketchup and removed them, still no good.

Is there any way to see in the bug splat dump files exactly what the issue is? They seem somehow encoded, or certainly not readable to me.

Open to any ideas as i am dead in the water right now!

UPDATES:

I built a brand new virtual machine running the same version of Windows as my laptop and SU2015 and vray runs fine, using the same install files.

I also thought maybe it was because i has SU2014 and the older vray installed first, so i installed this onto my VM, uninstalled and reinstalled SU2015 and its still fine.

Still no closer to working out whats actually going on.
