I am using the stiffness method per Ch. 15 of R.C. Hibbeler’s book, Structural Analysis. For intermediate loads between supports I use (FEM) fixed end moments. I’m actually still working on the matrix analysis piece. I’ve got point loads pretty much in place I’ve just got to implement distributed loads next. I suppose I could have it generate the entire polynomial for both shear and the moments since I am generating them for each applied load, it is probably just matter of using superposition on them as well. Here is a first look at the ability to switch between various load cases for the deflection graph: [image: 1756721460278-loadcases.gif]

Thank you, mates, for your kind words. I know that there are plenty of spots to be developed and improved. But the goal was to show the process (at least partially) from a rough sketch on.

@rv1974 said in Rework of 12 year old model.: TS calls to ban a user just for being negative to his his work ( note: not him personally). Isn't it pathetic? Could you also post what TS posted and later deleted in my address? I say this with all honesty and no sarcasm. I think you need some professional help

@Leggy said in Annoying pop up: so just scale down by 0.001 then export and we should be spot on in mm No. As I wrote: said in Annoying pop up: No need to scale those models down. And as @Box wrote. I've shown examples like this before. The SketchUp model: [image: 1756390018225-53845887723_431de704e7_o.png] And the 3D printed object. [image: 1756390035664-53845887438_c3b7a0281b_c.jpg] No scaling of the model required. The .stl file was exported at Model Units (meters). but the slicer reads the dimensions as millimeters.

@TIG Good and not-so-good news in your response: It's good to know you're already working on this, although a little sad because it won't be out anytime soon. I use this plugin in my modeling routine and enjoy seeing the report. Thanks for your response and great admiration for your work.

Water, energy, ai and mining craptic currency. We know how bad the situation on this, our only lifeboat is but business, gets to do whatever the chunk it likes while we get preached to and fleeced. THIS new emperors new clothes stuff is properly toxic.

@L-i-am said in Old model updated - Space fighter: HeY Bryan. I took the liberty of using AI to draw your design in the style of Syd Mead hope you don't mind . I am sitting on the fence about AI generally but your deign scrubbed up well [image: 1756291129798-mead-3.png] It does indeed scrub up nicely.
