You can install the stl import export tool from the extension warehouse, the one created by the sketchup team, and that will export correctly. Once installed look for a different export option in the file menu.

I use Vray and have the same problem....so I reckon its a sketchup thing...? Luckily the Vray asset editor makes it easy to do bulk material deletes. But, it is annoying to keep having all these 'auto' materials being made.

Hi, it seems it is not supported in sketchup 2020 and i saw some videos on youtube. I don't think that can help. I would like to be able to automate the creation of these shapes with the creation of a component which will not have the "number" without having each time to create a rectangle with the length and the width then use the push / pull to get the right one height.

I try to download the file from fix4dll like in one of the comments but my antivirus don't allow it, so I download the same file from https://www.dllinstaller.com/dlls/mfc100u-dll and what to do next just put the file in the folder should that work?

You need to download and install the 'PRIOR_2017' RBZ versions of Fredo's Extensions and Lib. Otherwise v2016 will not work properly. When you installed SketchUp v2016 did you do it correctly ? You could try a 'repair', it will do no harm and leaves your customized settings intact... Whilst logged into Windows as your normal user-account, ensure that SketchUp is closed. Find the installer's exe file - usually in your Downloads folder ? Select its icon and right-click > context-menu > "Run as administrator" When prompted in the resulting dialog choose "Repair". When it complete retry installing the problem files... Never 'Run' a complex app's installer's exe file by double-clicking it - even if your user-account had admin powers it is not the same thing... Well, at least in SketchUp, hard coded shortcuts override user set shortcuts. Whether it should be that way or not, it's always been that way and probably won't change any time soon. It certainly won't change in SketchUp 2017. which your profile says you are using.

Well, if I remember correctly, you can turn off Hardware Acceleration in SU's OpenGL Preferences although that option was removed at some point.

You can do the same on the PC but you use Alt.

download and install the redistributable of the required MS C++ 2015 runtime library x64 manually, launch the installer by "rClick > Run as Admin".

Hi - To add one ore more files (jpg, skp,...) press "Post a reply" directly here as you have already done it so far. In the reply input window please scroll down a little bit and use the options shown in the added screenshot. (JPGs, for example, get displayed in your post as an image directly, while SKPs get only displayed as a file attachment then.
