I will do that TIG. I didn't do it after I made the correction, because the plugin wasn't mine and Jim over the years has made me a couple of life-saving plugins. I am not a code writer. I am sure others will find this not the optional solution, however, it does work for me. I would like to see this plugin modified so it is correct for 2019 and future versions of Sketchup but don't wish to step on anyone's toes. See the attached PDF document to see how I modified the directory "Toolbars" to make the plugin work. The short answer is I moved the plugin "Loader.rb" from the directory "Files" to the directory "Toolbars" The structure of the 2018 toolbar directory.pdf

Hi, @rv1974: you can also use my ScenesTools plugin here: https://extensions.sketchup.com/fr/content/scenes-tools In your case use this option: Display > Scenes Tools > Shadows > Copy-paste from current scene to all scenes. There are many more options for all parameters that make up a scene Regards,

There are a few plugins, I use Soften/Unsoften by cadfather but you can set a native shortcut. Just make sure you have something selected that included softenable edges when you go to the shortcuts menu, then you will find it as Edit/Item/Soften/Smooth Edges.

No thanks, I'll pull them out from v2018 plugin folder. The point is sometimes main rb file comes with a bunch of aux stuff which is hard to catch.

I did a little test and I ran into some issues for su2018 I will try to find some time to look into them... @awadrummer said: I'm looking to upgrade, but can't live without this one. Great to hear you like it! Thank you Brewsky! The only issue I've found with 2018 is it freezes/takes a long time to process, but I generally have ALOT of lines. With that being said it is still usable. Thanks for your help and designing this awesome plugin!

Hello. I'm trying to launch the Stair Maker plugin in SketchUp 2017. Yes a solution without a special target-component would be nice. I have to say that all "random" selection plugins strangely seem to have the same conception of "randomness". I always get high amounts of "clumping", that i have to fix manually.

Thanks for coming back to me.. I like the idea of grabbing things and copying sideways. If I did this at each step and saved, I wouldn't have so many files in the project folder, as back up in case of crashes.. and it does just crash my end, when applying the quadmesh procedure. As I mentioned earlier, if I can get isocontours from a points cloud, export these to and mark up in CAD, I am still ahead of the game... Ta

It requires your help to place several commands in a single icon, as shown by the "Fredo Tools" plugin. How is it done in Ruby?. Blessings

This is a GREAT plug in! By the way the only way I know to install it is to copy the AT_set_standard_views.rb file to the Plugins folder.

I dont think so just lines but its really quick and has worked for me without problems even on grouped nested geometries. Just go to top view and set camera to parallell and slice four slices. I have sometimes drawn some guide lines that I snap to when slicing. You can try the demo for free.
