No - Selection Toys don't have any function to detect which objects is overlapped by another.

@unknownuser said: I realise that Thom's Transparency plugin is v8 only, but are there any 'stand-out' issues addressed that offer genuine excitement. Observer fixes. Being able to more reliably monitor the model. And additions/fixes to being able to draw things in the viewport - better UIs. @unknownuser said: Or is it a case of the issues addressed reduce your workload? Yes. Less hacks and workarounds. The thing is - there's lots of small improvements that adds up to a generally better environment to develop in. Most plugins will continue to be backwards compatible, but there will be a few that benefits from having a newer SU. It works with the old, but maybe not as good. Users of SU8M0 should absolutely upgrade to M1 as it fixes that cursed ray tracer bug which made many plugins act unreliable. A bit hard to sell a single API feature to the end user - as the benefit for the end user is what the plugins do with that feature.

    TIGT
@unknownuser said: TIG Well apparently it was my bad. When I loaded the correct and up-to-date SKMtools20110116a.zip, problem solved. However, it appears that delauney2.rb is required, as shown. TIG again thanks for the help. Ken So it looks like some other tools still use delauney2.rb - this leaves them open to fail when another script uses a different 'triangulate()' method outside of a class or module! It pretty easy to rewrite it to use delauney3.rb methods instead... Press the author[s]...

The second argument is optional. It just didn't exist in older versions.

@sawhack said: not really, if you use edit group you can erase the line but if you have two group connecting within a line and you want to erase the line that connect those group you'd have to explode it. thats the only method i think u can use or other may suggest. 'splain it to me, Lucy. How can you have two different groups connected by a line? The line must be in one group or the other or in neither group. If you open a group for editing and run the eraser tool over a line that is not in that group, nothing will happen.

No, DBase, at least the last one I used, was not OOPS. Big difference. Actually Ruby is easier to use, misuse, and abuse:-)

Yes, actually. http://rainbath.imcore.eu/ Although I never have used it. But really, it could be done in a simple way using only SketchUp Scenes and hidden surface which represents the water level. Plus there are a couple object animation plugins that can make it easier to actually move a "water" plane between scenes. There's Proper Animation and Keyframe Animation. Here's a short video made using KeyFrame: YouTube - coast [flash=480,385:2s963qod]http://www.youtube.com/v/1l7CXbQHrxQ?fs=1&hl=en_US[/flash:2s963qod]

@didier bur said: Hi, @unknownuser said: it will be able to do that Do you really mean you'll handle non-planar faces ??? or blend two meshes together with a soft polygonal mesh It's bezier surface meshes. http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=32810 So it'll be able to make a blend between two bezier patches.
