How can I do this is one swoop? I looked at the code for ky_Group_PushPull_2DFaces_v0.4_gvar.rb ....and that would work....if it only didn't group each face into its own group.....and I don't know code.

Basically, I have hundreds of 3D boxes that are made up of 6 separate faces.... and I'd like to select them all at once and have all of the individual boxes be grouped together individually....all at once. Like I said... ky_Group_PushPull_2DFaces_v0.4_gvar.rb kind of does it...but it does the push-pull command first of multiple 2D faces to a certain height and then groups all of the connected faces into separate groups.

But what if I have my boxes (the push-pull part done already) and I just want those multiple boxes to be grouped separately...all at once?

I think I'm repeating myself, so I'll stop now. Ha! Does anyone know of a rb that does something like that?

      Thanks for your time!

If your boxes are separated you have this plug "loos geometry to groups" by Chris Fullmer that group them automatically πŸ˜‰

That was my first plugin - so simple and yet I still use it all the time. Glad it helped. Glad you came by asking for help!
