Hi folks. Yes I reported this quite a few times. The funny part is that I use the coma as a decimal separator on my work PC and also on my home Mac and that it works OK on the Mac and not on the PC. Yes, I can type the dot key on the numerical keypad of the Mac and get a coma in Excel and a dot in SU. On the PC with Windows, no way. Where is the bug ? In Windows or in SU ? I dont know. Just ideas.

FYI: I added support for bugged circles in my Selection Toys plugin. http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=14975 If you select all entities and then Right-click->Select Only->Circles it'll select all the circles - even those that SU claims are arcs and incorrectly reports as 720 degrees.

It was actually just a guess - I never use images just textures. Therefore I didn't know (wasn't sure) it displays as an image either.

No luck. I went in firewall settings and allowed SU. I even restarted the computer and still can't connect.

Oh, good to hear this. I guess they both hang on the memory too much (but I'm not a very technically educated person to tell it sure).

Have you looked at Model Info> Rendering> Anit-Aliased Textures, uncheck the box to see if that makes any difference, just a thought

Nevertheless, I can at least say that recently, there was a problem with a release of Google Earth that broke SketchUp integration on Mac. The problem was located quickly and a new version of Earth was pushed out to correct the issue, but not before many customers were automatically upgraded to the broken version. Let's try manually forcing Earth to look for updates. Perhaps you're running on an outdated version and your problem will go away if you upgrade. In Google Earth, go to Help...Check for Updates Online. That's what it is on Mac; I can't remember for Windows. If an update is available, download and install it. Then try again. I dont think the problem is with GoogleEarth... because... well, because I installed an older version of Sketchup (Skt 6) and it worked flawlessly with GoogleEarth. Its only the currently installed Sketchup7 that can communicate with GoogleEarth. I didnt want to uninstall it because of the tons of plugins I have, VRAY, etc...

remus is right. graphic card may be the source of your problem. under the OpenGl on preferences, untick "use hardware acceleraion"
