SketchUP looks blurry????
-
I recently upgraded my video card and since doing so, SketchUp does not look as sharp as it did before my upgrade. Everything looks as though there is an anti-aliasing filter on the lines or something.... they look blurry.
I am using two monitors and had two separate video cards for each monitor, however, one card was a 256 NVIDIA card and the other was a 128 meg ATI card. I upgraded to a 512 NVIDIA card that supports two monitors. I know that the monitors now share the 512 memory, but that would still mean that I would have 256 meg for each monitor, correct? I didn't think I would see any change. I've checked all my settings and nothing appears to be set that would cause the problem. In addition, all other graphic applications (ie: AutoCad, 3dS Max, Photoshop, etc.) work without any change in appearance. It's only with SketchUp.?????
Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.

Could you share some screenshots at least?
Also, what happens if you disable one of the monitors and try to run SU (and your system) with only one?Anyway, as far as I know, SU doesn't really like dual monitors but I may well be mistaken about this.

I use two monitors at work that use the same video card and I don't have this problem and as I posted, I've always used two monitors but with two separate video cards at home.

Do your computers have the same drivers installed?
I got an Geforce 8800GT at home with dual monitors - no problems with blurring with any drivers there.
Got a Quadro FX 3500 at work - used to have two monitors - also no blurring problems.I think we'll have a better idea of what it might be when you get home to post them screenshots.
Btw, what monitors you got? LCD? Connected via DVI or VGA?

I hope I can leave it for Thom now as I don't use dual monitors and couldn't check those settings (also that he seems to have experiences with the same issue).
Moving the topic to the bug reports section though...

Actually, I've not had any issues with SU and dual monitors. Just pondering out loud.
Thinking of it, the cable connection doesn't matter since it was an issue local to SU.

Have you looked at Model Info> Rendering> Anit-Aliased Textures, uncheck the box to see if that makes any difference,
just a thought
