Hello! Really need help...

I'm working in an office and in my computer I do not have administrator priviledges. I'm using Google Earth 5 and Google SketchUp 7 but when I try to import a terrain from Google Earth into SketchUp, Google Earth asks for a file called GoogleEarth.msi to complete the installation.

My administrator has already updated Google Earth and the import/export process works perfectly on his login, but on mine it keeps asking for the .msi file.

Even if I can find the .msi file (which the Google Earth installer apparently deletes), the dialog does not allow me to edit the folder path to retrieve the file and the preset path is some temp folder in the administrator folders, where I cannot access files.

Does anyone have any solution for this? Thank you for any tips!

I've already tried Terrain Reshaper, yes, but I had quite large terrains and it was unable to retriangulate it correctly.

Thanks for your idea, it's a start, but I can't make points for more than one circle or arc at a time, and I have too many points to plot.
I'm actually trying to make an orthogonal grid terrain out of a TIN and was hoping to do this by intersecting regularly spaced lines with the TIN surface and then triangulating the resulting intersection points (with points_cloud_triangulation.rb from the Ruby Library Depot - http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/RUBY_Library_Depot.htm ) to create a new, more regular-meshed terrain.

I've been looking around for ruby scripts to place construction points at the intersection of lines with faces but I've found nothing that would help. Does anyone know any tips on how to accomplish this?

Indeed there were a couple of threads about this topic, I had a closer look now.
And yes, my model was very big, I was doing a very large sea plane that would be as near as possible to the horizon. I've already reduced it quite a bit and the problem got quite a lot more manageable. Thank you all for the tips!

Can anyone offer a tip or two on how to solve annoying clipping problems I'm having with my model? The geometry is being cut/disappearing when I zoom close (in perspective view) or tilt the model in a certain way (in parallel view).

I've trying switch back and forth between the two view modes and zooming far out or in but the problem remains pratically the same.

Any help would be much appreciated!
