just because something is registered in another country doesn't mean you don't have to pay for it, or taxes on it... are we sure he does this to skip some duty? or is that an assumption?

Well, Miikka (this sounds so Finnish to me! ) Animating object in SU is rather cumbersome and needs some practice either with the "face camera" settings of components or "Layers". However there is an ever developing project of "Sketchty Physics" by Chris (see thread here) but to tell the truth I don't know whether it works with Kerky or not.

ahh, okay it was a "tone opf voice" thing. When I first read your post I read it as "... but the Nigerian Part.. "NOW THAT WAS REALLY A HOOT" ( capitalized words added by me) But when Todd read it he read " but the Nigerian Part "WAS NOT FUNNY AT ALL" So I then took Todd's reading of it, and thought maybe you really meant: ....but the Nigerian Part "ANYTHING THAT SUSAN THINKS IS FUNNY, I"M GOING TO DISAGREE WITH JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT, WINK WINK, POKE POKE" Proving once again that the internet is grand and can so easily replace interpersonal contact.

My Maine Coon cat Fred is 17 now. He is part of my login name BTW. Before he ran away, Boo was my wife's cat. Fred is my cat and our last name is Lay. Fred is declawed but is an indoor/outdoor cat. He used to be about 18 pounds but is now only 12 pounds. His health is good but he has arthritis as he cannot jump on the couches anymore. Now he just walks up and looks at you until you pick him up. He is my monster and loves to fight. His mouth will wrap almost all the way around my wrist with teeth showing. He is a lap cat as well, loves to snuggle. His new nickname is house payment. He recently had an abcess on his side and needed medical attention. Poor boy. The hardest part of his recovery was keeping him inside before the stitches were taken out. I also find humor in cats like lets-roll. One of my favorite cartoon books growing up was this: http://www.cartoonstock.com/101_dead_cats/index.htm My favorite panel was the pencil sharpener... you can guess where the pencil goes

Well, I checked and my place also has the GMaps now as a layer in GE (it didn't use to be there). Even typing in adresses work (which did not for Hungary previously). Although I'm not exactly convinced that the position of the roads are correct. It seems that east-west it's OK but north-south there's a small distortion. I still need to check and I'll show you what I mean.

@gaieus said: I see it's driving everyone nuts. It's definately driving me nuts! She keeps changing direction even as I look at her. She goes 270deg clockwise and then maybe a couple of twirls counter and back again, plus every time she faces me she is laughing at my confusion. Therefore I cannot vote, please give us confused no-brainers a third choice Cheers from Bill on holiday in Wine Country. (Central Otago)

Hi Guys, I was thinking that there would be some 'SU old timers' hoping that Grant would jump on-board. I'll email this link to him so he can gauge the size of his fan club Mike PS: For any of the Newbies that don't know about Grant. http://www.marshallarts.co.za/

I am currently in Texas with my daughter visitig my mother and stepfather. We went to Sea World yesterday and my daughter actually wanted to ride the biggest coaster. She is 7. Needless to say she got very scared but after the ride and after a bit of crying she said: "Let's do it again!" We sat in the second row of seats. She did not want to be in front. Here is the beast we rode: http://www.4adventure.com/SWT/ar_steel_eel.aspx http://www.coasterphotos.com/SWOT/images/SAENeel2.jpg

Thanks for the encouragement. I have lost some more weight but it is much slower now. Being on vacation is not that difficult as am at my mother's house and she stocked whatever I wanted. However when we took my daughter to Sea World yesterday, well we had to eat right? That chili dog did not do me too well but at least I stayed with the water all day.

I would second the DataCAD recommendation, unless you want the familiarity of the AutoCAD commands and layout. It takes some getting used to but is worth more than the price you pay. It has a small but very knowledgeable and rabid fan base and some great forums. Besides that, you can always email the owner fo the company directly and he will usually respond to you or put you in touch with someone at the company to help you out. I used it when i first started my own Architectural firm to save on startup costs. Otherwise, AutoCAD LT is pretty much the way to go, IMHO. If you are doing Architecture, you will find the Real Architect add-on program very helpful.

@unknownuser said: @passuby said: I am going too order this too. Is there any other books anyone else would recommend? The books by Bonnie Roskes are very good http://www.f1help.biz/ccp51/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F8241477&rnd=6654062&rrc=N&affl=&cip=212.56.70.117&act=&aff=&pg=cat&ref=SU And several by Insitebuilders http://insitebuilders.com/training.htm The insite builders' books are pretty neat. very informative as well. I love Bonnie's books as well, but sometimes it's like reading stereo instructions . Dang engineers...
