Nice work Paul!!! As Baz suggests the clipping mask is brilliant. You can actually apply one mask to numerous images. You can see what I mean here, the flooring is a texture repeated and then clipped. [image: HKaD_plan.jpg] [image: clnJ_clipping.jpg]

Well done! ...and you're certainly squeezing every possible bit of function out of each sq. centimeter.

I think there's a place for you among those who design dystopic movie sets... Very convincing... and well done!

@bryan k said: Looks good! The renders turned out nicely. Thanks Bryan K I do appreciate it. I have so much to learn!!! I keep trying all kinds of shapes and styles. I am hoping to become good like architect and designer Guy Dreier, check him out. http://www.guydreierdesigns.com/ When I look at his work I know I am nowhere near closed to knowing what I need to know to become that good. Its a long road ahead for sure haha Thanks again.

@tuna1957 said: was trying to look at the positives with my first post. your reply makes me think you missed the point I was trying to make. google cabin and cabin interiors and maybe you'll better get what I'm driving at. When I look at your render I like the lighting, panorama . colors of the various materials but it doesn't say "cabin in the mountains" to me , more like a condo.... I think the average person viewing the image would be hard pressed to say it evokes the feel of a country cabin. tuna1957 : No problem. I accept what you're saying. Thanks for your input. garystan

HornOxx , thank you very much. Rich , appreciate your input. I'll have you know I never buy irregular oranges . actually never occurred to me to ovate their shapes a little. as for stems oops they have no stems . I was shooting for a high glaze ceramic look on the bowl and canisters, but I have a noise map I got from the Twilight forum that I'll give a try on the canisters , sort of a side by side comparison. thanks much for the positivity and the critique. chuck.

@firstliight said: This is a home I designed for a client that is being constructed, my first to be constructed. Thank you, Yes there will be construction photos, the steel for the home comes next month. This is not my first home for a client, but its the first to reach this stage of construction. I am super excited! I owe a lot of my success to sketchucation.com because I learned a lot about sketchup from asking questions here on this site that got me notice by the developer I work for. Thanks

Hopefully it would be for as long as it took to finish rather than a flat fee. I hope so anyway.
