I have noticed that gloominess in a lot of Twilight renders I wonder if it is somewhat application related?

I wonder mate, if your monitor might be set too bright? This is very dark again! Nice though!!!

Hmm. It should be an eavening athmosphere. Is it really to dark?

I had taken it to be a twilight scene, and I like the moodiness of the original render.

Mate I do understand the evening shot idea. Though I'd say with the brightness of the background there would be much more ambient light.

Mate even if they are close to correct lighting as you might capture on a camera, I'd still want a bit of post pro to expose more of the foreground, much of your detail is lost.

Nice renders and as I know TwilightRender has a built-in brightness-contrast adjustment tool. πŸ‘ I also agree with Rich on ambient color due to the bright sky. Here is my taste.
