Ta folks, it is the ai thing.

My design, mea culpa. Similar in concept to the hotrod I did some yonks ago but oriented towards track days.

Working on a studio setup for Rayscaper so hopefully some renders then.

If you tell me where exactly you meant to make a reply (instead of creating a new topic), I can (try to) merge the two - thus simply just "adding" your comments there...

(BTW I do precisely "suspect" where it was intended... Smile)

Not sure, that is the only design we actually put the fireplace on. I have to admit it wouldn't look as good if it didn't have it.

I have run into unintentional implementations of this twice. Once I was racing a Hobie cat sailing catamaran off the coast of Laguna Beach, California and I thought I was being followed by a jet plane. Looked around and there was nothing but wind and waves. I was on a broad reach, had one hull out of the water and was really smokin. Then it occured to me that the wind in the rigging and the tension created by the hull slipping through the water were setting up vibrations that was causing the whole rig to sing in a high pitched whine.

More recently I was biking along the southern outskirts of Phoenix next to the Tohono O'Odham reservation and I was sure that I was being followed by a flying saucer. It was the same sound as saucers make in Sci Fi movies. Actually raised the hair on the back of my neck which is the only hair I still have left to raise. Then I realized it was wind setting up vibrations in the high tension wires far above the roadway. Even though I now knew what it was I looked back a few times just to be sure I was not being followed.

    Holgster,
Thank You for Your time and Your comments.

    Spadestick,
Dont know what You mean exactly, what do I do in general or what do I do in relation to the posted images.
I will answer the second issue if I am correct
    that is what You meant.
The estate agent brought me a conceptual project that was done by another architect so that I provide visuals in order to sell the plot of land. He feels that in this manner he will sell the plot better than without visuals and so do I. If the client that eventually buys the land decides he wants to build a house similar to the one on the visuals he can do it in a short time. If he decides that he will build a house like the one You propose he will have to go start with
    new permits and so on.
I saw the web site and I wouldnt like to comment on whats appropriate or not in design.
One is modern and the other is traditional.
It is all a matter of opinion ,preferences, location and target market.
The architect that did this had taken all those things into consideration and in my oppinion has made a right decission.

Very nice Paul! What method do you use to get your white lines in the pavement? Do you use the stamp tool?

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. Here's another go at the wc-ish style.

I have nvidia at both work and home - the one at home just happens to be a "better" model. I'm looking at replacing it though with the latest, if I can ever figure out which one would be the best (all this stuff is greek to me).

In the end the same results can be get with any program indeed. But in my experience VRAY is the easiest and above all the fastest render engine.

Sorry it is on hold. The nature of the business eh?

Good to know you will complete it for yourself, I look forward to more images.

Very nice. Showing the door opening direction as a graphic on the floor is a great idea. Probably obvious to you clever folks, but I hadn't figured it out.

Wow, first time seeing this...really impressive. I love the creative feel to the overall setting. This is quite refreshing to see, let alone know its being built, as I've grown numb to the cut and paste architecture that has taken over.

    Great job.

That's great modeling, but even more, it shows incredible anatomical knowledge and artistic sense.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Tina, his job has moved into Revit now. I have all the existing and half of the new addition in Revit. If I do a final rendering, if the client wants it, it will most likely be done in Revit, my first Revit rendering if I do so.

Dylan, I very much would enjoy living in a house like that. Very nice.
And learning some new tricks here too... bonus.

    Thanks.
