Working on another style...

...sort of a retro "bookplate" look. These are my picks so far...any comments, hints, tricks, help and/or advice: please and thank you?

as always, another amazing artfully artistic artisan artwork. all along, all are always adoring all your assembly's

I do love your work Tom, this stlye does produce a very definite look. I'm not sure that I like it as much as your masterful digital watercolours, but I would say that this style is top notch!

The second and third are off the charts Tom. Awesome.
The first one is cool but not as cool as the second two. -
I'm voting on the middle one.

it will be the day when i give you some advice, tom. great pices of work, as usual. and the trees are awesome.

Thanks all for your kind comments...but Edson, every little bit helps (and I need more than a little bit :`) especially since what trips my trigger doesn't yet make the sale. Plus, I've seen your work too and so I gotta say: "Nonesense, lay it on me!"

the second one for me.
like the style sketchy ends and the colour.
In my opinion present a photorealistic one or make a mix
just like you did Tom. -
ok, then. all three are beautiful but i would go with nº 2 as is the one in which building and vegetation are better matched. in nº 1 the trees are a bit sketchy for the building's degree of detail. in nº 3 the trees are competing for attention with the bldg.
hope that helps you make up your mind.

Very nice work. I like all three.
I like the contrast of the first image - it would jump out beautifully on the front of a promotional brochure, for example. I like the overall mix of the second image - most pleasing to the eye - soft mixing of the trees (I like the soft transition from sky to tree on the left better than the lined delineation of the tree on the right), and the hard lines of the building stand out nicely. The style of the third image may have its place (bold!), but I feel like this particular perspective is constrained - like I want to see more of the houses, I'm trapped in an alleyway... and how did this great big tree get here? I can see how it could be cozy, but something about this view makes it feel a little closer to claustrophobic - and the trees are devouring the houses. I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea... fwiw
Much respect for your work,
Nick
