Thanks for the feedback. Gai- yup its a limitation of the software that makes the tours. The new version fixes this but it's a $200USD upgrade. I can't swing the upgrade right now. It's possible to do a tour of a SU model like the ones on the site. I think it would be cool to have both the virtual and the actual available on the same tour.

On a presentation aspect, I think its fantastic. A little over the top in regards to contrast and reflections, yet I find it part of the appeal. I'm a big fan of your artistic render style.

Thanks for your comments... I actually meant these images to be more on the sketchy side but the people cutouts really didn't help that as they bring a photo touch to it that competes with the sketch. Otherwise I like the mix between the sketchy feel and some GI/irradiance effects. sepo, the trees I think you are talking about are actually a component I got from the warehouse. It is the "arvore 3" by Gabriel Felin. I think this is one of the best trees out there for fill in trees at a small memory footprint. All I did is explode the leaves and make them cast shadows, podium follows the transparency for a nice detailed shadow (unlike SU). I love the way these trees render.

SU is very slow indeed but not meant to do professional modeling for photorealistic rendering. Using more appropriate modeling programs is the answer. With Sketchup you pay a high price for the ease of use and the amount of information you get while drawing. But we use Maxwell and import portions of our model from Sketchup into Maxwell Studio and so we never have to handle the whole model all the time in Sketchup. Devide your models when they become slow.

I Made This All on my own the house I made seperatly from everything else. I did the same thing with the chicken coop. Then I imported them into the farm. So then I moved all the stuff around abit to make it all fit just like my own farm. Then saved it all then painted it all so it looked pretty close to the real thing.

Second image is quite nice. You can feel all that heat and haze ...and of course she helps a lot. Good stuff Chris.

@olishea said: nice!! did you use color by z plugin to get the graduated colour? I just used some highly photoshop processed (lots of blurring) digital photos as projected textures.
