lol I hear what you are saying, creating a whole lawn with individual blades of grass does sound abit silly, but I have added a texture and it just does not look right.

cheers bud, however is there a tutorial on how to do this because Im having problems. I have made my rectangle, added the fur, made it a component. I then go back into the fur plugin chose my component and then make fur, however not only does it go on the face I have selected but everywhere else aswell.

I have recently been playing about with the plug-in fur and I keep coming across a problem. Basically after I have applied some fur e.g. for grass my file size increases and what originally was a couple of Meg file now turns into 100+ Meg file and then it crashes.

I would like to know if everyone else is getting these huge file sizes? What you are doing about the file size, if anything? If you can open these 100+ Meg files then what are your comp specs? Because I may very well need a new one.

And my last question, if you don’t use fur then how do you do your grass?

ive recently rendered these two houses which im working on but i dont really like how it has came out. If any one would like to comment and any suggestions on how to improve it would be great i used vray to render it.
