Here are some trial tests shots I did for a client to show show my idea of how lighting should be set up on the stage and around it.

I think the third one looks the best. The lighting on the fourth one is just a bit too bright.

          Thanks Daniel.
Actually I forgot to say, non of these are final renderings but a demonstration to show the effect of different light source positioning. There are over 40 different light sources here in this model. They were set up in SketchUp and demonstration was done in Maxwell render using the Multilight function. This is a one of the great features of Maxwell Render. Lighting is probably one of the most important single elements in creating the right interior scene mood. The great thing with the Multilight feature is once you have completed your rendering you can present it to the client by combining the lighting effects by switching off ,turning down, generally playing with all the switches demonstrating the effects of each single light source. Since I do a lot of interior design this is something that really helps to sell the project.

            Mateo

What a stunning use of multilight, I would suggest your client would have been VERY impressed - I know if I were seeing it for the first time I would!

BTW mate is the bump reversed on the back wall, looks just a bit strange?

            Great work mate, seriously!

              Richard,
              Thanks, really appreciate your feedback.
Its a bit more work but I can tell you this really helps to sell the project.

I must say mate I rarely do any renders without using multilight, even if it is for a sun only exterior, I still place even one panel outside the scene so I can utilise low environment lighting and slower shutter speeds to soften the shadows.

When I get some free time I will continue a tutorial that I already started. Not on this scene but another one.
