I do not have a smart phone, it matches me for stoopid and I use it as a phone only. I am sure there are folk here with a Whyphone who can describe the process. I found this with a brief search. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iph864a938de/ios

Ross - better watch out because the last couple of months melamine has been showing up in the food supply. Being a pet owner, you likely took notice of the huge story about a month ago where tonnes of pet food had been recalled, and was killing off dogs (mostly, I understand) and cats. The reason was that the wheat gluten that was supplied from China had melamine in it. This is a little worrysome, as wheat gluten is in many products, and I wonder how long a form of your cups will end up in my food? <I don't remember hearing that your dog(s?) had any health problems, and I would almost guess that you buy organic for them anyways?> cheers (oh and thanks for the response. For some reason, I wasn't thinking that you meant the inside of the glass closest - but yeah, that's caustics as I understand 'em. About the ground, I thought it actually looked quite good, the splotches on the right side looked like K artifacts to me though - but perhaps X was the "culprit" I had a quick question as to what a High Dynamic Range Probe is? I don't really understand how VUE (my renderer of choice) handles HDRI's - I just know it works, but I would generally insert an image for VUE to get the sense of lighting direction and brightness from - I wonder what a "probe" is? I'm with you, Will, I too like the soft warmth of this image. You might try pulling just a little form out of the people with your light/dark brush...seems to pacify my "look like billboards" nemesis. (Getting picky, 'cause this image deserves the best, I think the kids group would set down in space better if moved forward off the white patch of carpet.) Really nice, thanks for sharing. Best, Tom.

your renderings have nice light quality. no hot spots...which is great! Couldnt gather much about architecture though. the mountain resort is a good attempt! Seems the tress and vegetaion was post processed I hope TBD incorporates support for PNGs in the next upgrade. what is the texture on the left roof?

to the artist formerly known as Martin who now goes by the symbol ۩ Man- that looks very clean, and I would agree with Chris - the backdrop is great.. I really liked your vehicle - very original and the detail level is plausible. Very nice. I hope to see many more renders with K from you, as it looks like you have this under control! Actually is it possible to render 2 point perspective as such. Also is it possible to render elevations. I know it is not possible to render SU section.

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on Indigo, updates look promising. I might be getting an old Dell Precision Workstation 530 MT that I'll use as a spare machine to solely do renders. It only has one Xeon CPU (1.7 GHz) ATM, space for another, however I think it'll be quite difficult to source a CPU to fill the second ATM, not to mention some RDRAM (Rambus rimms) as it only has 512MB.

Bruce, Cool - different and interesting. I like the display that you have chosen. This looks very much like a Corel/Illustrator vector drawing. Could you post another view so we can appreciate the 3D? That magazine make it in the mail yet? P: Shaun Tennant

Thanks Shaun. This particular model is an oldie I have been tarting up to put on my website. The job has actually been built. It was an interesting job...the Clients were newly arrived Vietnamese with virtually no English. We communicated via translators [a different one every time] pointing at pictures and body gestures, nods and head shakes. In the end it was win/win all round. BTW if any Mods want to move this thread to the Gallery, please do. Stu

Thank you very much for your comments. Here is an image of the main stair rendered in Kerkythea 2007 and of course modelled with SU5 pro. [image: 14.jpg] Regards, George
