Sorry, missed this response, stuff happening and loudly. I will not be sending any scene's for a while as onepillockdrive is taking me up the wall. On my tenth circuit of wall, ceiling, wall, floor....... microsnot wanting me to reinstall the pillock drive to "Experience the full benefit of a properly functioning pc experience, it is only between £20 and £50 per month to home all my files on their 'super safe' servers". Cheers Massimo. Can't wait to see your interior shots. BTW I reckon you need to get rid of the fence on the left side of the building.

In practice it is not possible, but in the imagination of man has a sense , all vehicles and aircraft are a work of fiction. As for the vehicles, it is a work of fiction inspired by the Russian vehicles. Besides these I have a lot more like the completed work of fiction.

@chedda said: Thanks for all the help Richard, can i apply a bump map directly in sketch up through the maxwell plugin interface, or is this something that has to be done in studio ? I am guessing mapping the crack in the wall in the centre of the image would be difficult to position, the glass bump would be easier. Position your bump map to the model in SU, this will by default set it for both the bump map and colour map. In the plugin material editor bump channel under source set to "use specific texture" and link to the same map externally, In the colour map channel again select "use specific texture".*** This should drop the colour map from this material yet maintain a bump map that utilises your UV's. Use this method for both your wall map and glass bump. *** you may want to use a map here with a VERY low contrast mottling created using your wall colour and a slightly off tone mixed using photoshop's Filter > Render > Clouds.

@jo-ke said: The model itself looks good. But I'm missing some bump- and specularmaps and work on materials to make it look more real. I'm guessing you mean more bump on the street and walls? Where/what would you suggest for specular effect and which materials could use work? What do you think of the viewpoint / entourage etc.?

@john2 said: oh nice and the furniture is modeled by you only? i really liked the wooden woven chair, the weaves ..they are modeled or transparent texture? I got the chair from 'Archive 3D' website. You can download there models and import them in SketchUp. I added the textures myself afterwards. This website is also very good for plant / tree files: http://plants.swtexture.com/

Not sure, I can ask. He did send the original version of the model off to be printed and the head was too heavy, it broke the neck. I revised the model for him and the result is what you see in the photo.

Imagine the scene, the wife walk in and I'm stood their painting happy trees, a big mop of Bob Ross hair and mustache....she would soon have me sectioned! llonghi & Cherryni, thank you. TIG. Thanks, I enjoy reading the history of these buildings almost as much as modeling them. John

In addition to the above comments, I'll offer some advice from a former professor in regards to presenting retail designs: Show more people. Your client does not want to spend a fortune developing a project only to see it empty.
