    An exporter for models from SketchUp Pro has been one of the most frequently requested tools for MachStudio Pro. The free exporter is now avaialble making it easy to export 3D assets from SketchUp Pro 7 into MachStudio native GXB formats. These models can then be imported into MachStudio Pro where an artist can create and manipulate lights, materials, and HDR cameras in a real-time, non-linear workflow environment to achieve film quality results. The SketchUp Pro 7 exporter plug-in can be downloaded for free at http://studiogpu.com/downloads/ MachStudio Pro harnesses multi-threaded GPU computing to change the equation of time vs. quality. Frames that normally take 20 to 40 minutes each to render can be rendered in seconds at comparable quality.  Processes which normally would be separated into specialized tasks in production, or off-loaded to render farms, are instead possible in a concise, creative workflow.     Thanks for the answers So I created a model with SU to which I applied the texture, go exported the model as a obj with texture coordinates. [image: 44852299.th.jpg] when I go to rotate the texture, they do not rotate, I intend to rotate the preview of the advanced material editor but not in the render.     Im still having a lot of problems with light up. -Lightup changes the colors of a lot of my textures -Lightup seems to have problems rendering some of my components, some houses have transparent roofs, some entire buildings are missing. As soon as I turn off light up everything looks fine again. -I still cant make the points light work in my city. Do they have to be a part of the components them selves or can they just be free floating??

    yes mates , I removed the ;UPPER; (fake) part, so I had to increase the light power ( this is not such important) the important part is that, if for example you lower the ceiling to about i.e. 1m to the light, the fake one goes wrong , but mine would work fine (bkz the fake part would intefer the ceiling)... so I've tried to imitate the reality , more true....

    Thought I wouild bump this one, I am interetsed to hear if anyone is using Synchro. I had a play with it about a year ago and am keen to have another look as I am finding clients starting to talk about 4D potential. I have sent a number of emails to Synchro over in the UK but have had no response, I hope they are not a recession victim Sek

    We have uploaded a new version of NprTools- IF16. See: Downloads This version has combined Soft Shadows and Sketchy Shadows into a single tab dialog - which uses the same settings for both and which should also be easier to use. We have also added some radio button presets for Shadow Softness and Spread which should make it easier to get the desired effects. (After adding lots of options to let you control shadow softness, patterns, intensity, and other things the application has become rather complex. These radio settings will make it easier to get started. However you can still adjust iterations, days and times as desired in Custom mode.) [image: Soft-Shadows-Dialog.jpg]
