Have you tried a 'Repair' ?
Close SketchUp.
Find the v2024 installer's exe file [probably in your Downloads folder - or get a new download]
Select the exe file's icon, right-click > Run as administrator
When prompted choose 'Repair'
When it's completed try SketchUp again...
Double-clicking the exe to 'Run' it is not the same thing, even if your normal user account has admin powers...
Make sure you have the newest copies of all Plugins/Extensions/Libs installed and restart SketchUp to sync everything.
If you still think it's a Plugin incompatibility then there should be an error message at startup, or if you close SketchUp with the Ruby Console open it'll open on a restart showing any error messages, otherwise try disabling a suspect, if your not sure move around half of your plugin RB files temporarily into another folder [move the most suspect RBs first], if the issue persists you know the bad RB is still loading, but if it's cured then move those RB files out into another folder and retest, otherwise now add back half of the first RBs if it's still OK the issue is in those remaining, so move the RBs into the temporary folder, retry with a half of the remainder etc until you narrow it down to a few and you should find the culprit... 128 > 64 > 32 > 16 > 8 > 4 > 2 > 1

Also some URI stuff is FUBAR in v2024 too...
It was indeed File.exist? v File.exists? which had worked side-by-side for decades, but in v2024's Ruby only the former works !
This has affected lots of older or lesser used plugins...
v2.0 is now available in the PluginStore.
The exist? issue was easily done but I also fixed somethings that were archaic in the 13 year old code - like not having its own proper namespace etc.
Its RBZ is also now signed etc.

It now allows multiple pre selected component-instances, but still only one preselected face.
These are glued to the face [is possible], any errors or unsuitable instances are reported in the Ruby Console...
This plugin is over a decade old !
As far as I recall, and tell from the code and version, it has always needed a selection of one face and one component to work. for 19 years.
Although I do see from my posts do speaks of one or more components being processed...
As far as I can see this old code is very simplistic... e.g.
It does not check for gluing properties, or face-normal, or Z-axis, or position on the face.plane, or transformation.origin point on the face at all.
If it checked for several components being on the face and sharing the face.normal as their Z-axis etc, then it would be possible the get it to process several gluing components. However, this would require a complete rewrite...

v8 is very old, and unsupported by many newer extensions, but CofG should work with it...
It appears the '.round()' function isn't working...
I don't have that version installed to test it...
I can't find an earlier version without the round code in it...

An A04 error means it can't decode the signature file.
Have you tried deleting that file and redoing it again ?
Do you have any non-ASCII characters in your computer's user-name ?
In case it's a permissions issue have you installed SketchUp properly ?
You can 'Repair' it thus...

This really needs @fredo6 's expertise, but as far as I can see the vertical component with the holes is nested inside a component of several pieces.
If you do not edit and select the appropriate context then the hole cutting doesn't occur in the component ?
