      KathrynG,

Beautiful render!!! And I hear what you are saying about nudge. Sometimes I work between Powerpoint and Sketchup and find myself trying to hold down the CTRL button and "nudge" with the arrows keys in Sketchup like I do in Powerpoint....It would be a nice native feature.

      Sebastian,

Or should I call you Santa? I did not know that about components. Thank You.

      Sebastian,

Thank You for that. I model process plants such as Refineries, Chemical Plants, and Paper Mills. They all pretty much use the same equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, and transmitters. In fact, all modern process plants have this same equipment. It would be great to have those items in the library.

That is my Christmas wish from 3Skeng.

      Sebastian,

Could you please give us an update on this plugin. Your website is dated and doesn't give a hint of whether the plugin is still under development or not. As mentioned before, the component library is also very important to me (and others I'm sure).

The potential for this plugin or a similar one is Huge. It would blow the expensive programs out of the water for conceptual drawings.

      Thank You,

      Paul

      Mr. Shepherd,

That is an excellent suggestion!!! Hadn't thought of doing it that way. Thank You.

Thanks Dave. That's what I'm doing now but was wondering if there was a better way w/o removing the faces.

I am trying to figure out the fastest way to draw fabric that is serpentine around cylinders like in the picture. Can't figure out how to do it quickly without z-fighting.

      Thank You,

    • RE: [Plugin]$ Keyframe Animation

Sorry about your problems Ashscott. I did a trial with Keyframe Animation not long ago and was getting bugsplats also. Just figured it was a problem with another plugin and left it at that. I'd be curious as to what you find out about your problem.

    • RE: Object looks far away

No, the top pic is from Layout. I had to reduce the bottom Sketchup pic size to get it to post here. It was a MUCH closer view. Maybe it's a pixel setting I'm missing? I'm on a 23" screen and make my scenes in Sketchup then send it to Layout. Usually just use the default paper size in Layout.

      Dave,

The top picture is from Layout and the bottom pic is from Sketchup. Every scene is like this. I set it up and it looks good in Sketchup. Bring it into Layout and it looks further away. Especially noticeable with taller objects. Thanks Dave.

    • Object looks far away

I know this has been asked before but can't find the thread. When I set up a scene in Sketchup and bring it into Layout, it looks much farther away. Is there a way to make it look the same as in my Skechup scene?

      Thanks,

      Paul

A Fog plugin would be very cool. I've tried fog a few times and never could get it to go where I wanted to. Best of luck Renderiza.

      PipeDraft,

Yes, it Bugsplats before I launch anything. In fact, it Bugsplats as soon as Sketchup opens and the toolbars show up. And no, I do not have any of the quarantined plugins installed. I will try it again later and report back.

      Thank You,

      Paul

I installed PipeDraft this morning and when I opened Sketchup it would immediately Bugsplat. Had to uninstall PipeDraft and restart my computer to get Sketchup working again. Pretty scary. I'll try it again later.

      Thank You,

      Paul
