Yes, I used to draw those for tank and pipe inspection. SketchUp can help you... Only problem I see is that you'll probably want to be drawing in scale from the start and sketchup draws in a real sized universe. So you'll have to scale yourself or use your edraw software to scale it.

@dave r said: Keep in mind that the small gap will, at some distance, be small enough you'll get the Z-fighting again. It may work for what you need though. You often see this Z-fighting when there are trusses under the sheathing on a roof. Even though the sheathing has some thickness so the upper face is spaced away from the trusses, they can still show through. Gaieus has written a tutorial about this: http://sketchucation.com/resources/tutorials/37-beginner/315-edges-bleeding-through-geometry

Well, either you need to zoom in with the scroll wheel in LO or maybe you need to change the size of the viewport on the paper. In LO you can't use the edges of the work space or the display as a reference for how large things appear. You need to use the edges of the paper space instead. Maybe you could post the LO file to me in a PM.

Chris, I am splitting the model up into smaller pieces now and it works much better. Still learning. The code TIG gave me works great.

I believe Mikogo also allows remote control and has other nice features like white board, and participant pointers. http://www.mikogo.com/product/what-is-mikogo/
