These look very cool, would like to get into blender so I went to the link for osx and found several differat builds and since I know nothing about blender maybe someone can tell me the difference in freestyle ,and others on this website thanks

Your plugins folder should look like this I use House bulder a lot on Mac with no problems

Haven't seen any issues here but my files aren't really huge.

Yes that's a nifty trick I just learned but you need to click once to select component and then double click to select all faces and edges in that component or just as has been said a triple click either way.

You should only see it every 15 days or so, good to have if there have been updates, bug fixes and such.

The users library folder is hidden in Lion, in finder window go to view drop down menu at the top under GO hold the option key down and it will show.

I noticed you use a mac, if you have an ipad or iphone you might want to look at this.

Here's one I found recently if it's been mentioned here sorry.
The Unarchiver, it opens zip, rar and a whole slew of other extensions I've never even heard of before, the great thing is if you download a plugin you can unzip it directly to the plugins folder no more copy and paste.

I'm not sure because I've had the same problem,
but I think if you save as new default templete or even name same would write over old templete it would keep your new tool bar setup.Maybe you could use that to have different tool bar setups depending on what you were doing especially if you lots of plugins. Hey there's an idea just came to me.

Welcome to the forums. There are a limited no. of renders out there for Mac unfortunately but a couple are Maxwell plugin very easy to use and Kerkythea both free. Kerky has a known bug with the .dmg but it will install if you read enough of the forums on the subject. As with any program the more you know the better your renders will be. Look forward to some of your renders here post in WIP and plenty of people to help you might find this site usefull.
