And I haven't paid for anti virus ware in ten years.

My brother gave me his MacPro 1st gen 2006 because I wanted a quad core for rendering, still running. So I've had a MBP a Mac Mini and now a used iMac. The only reason I don't use the MacPro is it's a 32 bit machine. I would rather quit computing altogether if I had to go back to Windows. Everything about Mac is better except this one issue. I've just learned to live with it. What I don't understand is, the videos I've seen of the SU team on a computer it's always a Mac. How do they sleep at night.

I've gotten a little better at rendering lately and pretty much done with the modeling. I post the renders because I think the do the SU model more justice.

Thanks pbacot the size ended up at 131MB and that's without inside walls. Thankfully years ago after watching a Basecamp video by Daniel Tal I learned to use scenes to hide layers like vegetation otherwise it would have been a real bear.

This is a roof line that wasn't completely planer made from several different objects it intersected with. I couldn't get the lines to make a face so I used Sandbox/ From contours I got a face but lots of hidden geometry which makes it hard if not impossible to extrude of use the offset tool. So Is there a way to make surface planer without any hidden geometry?

Nice job Bryan. I know I struggle with the same things like the trees and exterior but it's all about learning and getting better. It's good to get some critique so we also learn.

Dah I had the faces reversed didn't realize that and ThruPaint settings were set to front face.

A question. Would someone look at these settings and tell me why I can't seem to rotate or otherwise scale this texture? When I rotate or scale the texture with the gizmo nothing happens.

Nice render, I like the stairs better too.
