Of course they can, if they choose a simple name like "Cylinder" and do not set a version string, or everyone starts out with "1.0.0".. then yes they can conflict.

Authors should use unique names, like: "Foltz: Cylinder", and use a proper version string.

Sketchup decides whether to load (or not to load,) extensions, based upon a concatination of the name and version string. (Check the registry and you'll see what I mean.)

I have "View on Google Docs" as right click choice on FF. Did I load this feature? Anyway I use it a lot to look a pdf's instead of DL.

Well.. not really off topic... this has become a continuation of anothor thread (also started by Jim I think, titled something like, "Where to store user files" or similar.)

In that thread I explained that Windows has hidden (maybe since Win95?) the user's %AppData% path. I can see it because I always go into the File Settings and set show all files types and file extensions. (What can I say... geeky as charged.)

Weird that OSX gets more like Windows.. and Windows is now built upon a Linux core.

I guess it can not be done due to security reasons. It's not a big deal since I can open the bookmark as a Sidebar in FF, I just thought I could simulate the Sidebar across different browsers.

Access to layer colors is very limited [I wrote a way of getting them from a DXF export but it's pretty lame]... AdamB did come up with a 'possible' solution that never got finalized....

That looks like the adapive degrading's boundingbox. I think I've seen that as well on occasions when it occurs. Doesn't seem to adhere to the Hide Rest of Model setting.

I don't find a specific forum for discussing Advanced Camera Tools (here or at Googlegroups.)

If SCF had a forum, where would it be put ?

Extract it to a different folder then move it to the Sketch Up plugins folder. This worked for me.

Yeah, but it's slow enough when I hit a folder with a lot of files in it. Caching thumbnails is speedier for me.

The DELETE key registered "onKeyUp : Key code: 46 ( VK_DELETE )" in the Console (on my PC,) and deleted the selected face.

It seems weird that keys would bubble up from a Tool instance keytrap callback. I can see having a bubble method that allows passing the key up to Sketchup, but to do it all the time?

you can edit the nibs on NSPanels, and I guess you could change the content if you know all the tool codes...
