Thanks for the great reactions π.. I used Vray for SU the latest version allows for a sphericalrender wile using the Vray sun π... And it works great.
Thanks For the kind words I relay appreciate it a lot. The trees had exactly the same purpose in this scene as whit your photographic work. The thing whit the renders here is that I wanted not to just let it look real. But to give it an extra artistic touch... That is what I try`t to achieve.
dramatic lighting! alomst seems to be out of a fairy tale π I like it!
earth mover is right though. the flowers in the foreground are not really necessary.
the rough water is absolutely fantastic. how did you achieve this effect? oh, and which engine did you use for the rendering? was a lot of photoshop involved?
On a presentation aspect, I think its fantastic.
A little over the top in regards to contrast and reflections, yet I find it part of the appeal.
I'm a big fan of your artistic render style.
i mean its a little desaturated, no contrast on colors, etc, also the render quality its just ok, compare to your interiors,,,please dont take this the wrong way, i just feel to say this because i think you can make it better, but this is only my point of view and i can be wrong,,,anyway this is a good job! π
Try that. It worked for me (check out the youtube link to see the result). I wrote a tutorial of how I have did it and I have done a few other quick animations with the same method. All the things that are suggested by dalomar are accurate, but I have so far been able to successfully manage animations without having to do any IR calculating or anything like that. Im just telling you this, because the way I did was very simple and straight forward, but it may not be full proof. So I would resort to other suggestions if my method does not work. One other thing, I did all my animations on a single computer but a beast of one and with a lot of geometry in my scene (which seems to be the case for you here) it took about a week straight to get about a 18 second output (if you use a 30 sec frame rate). And laslty, im not too sure if you can get rid of the jerky transitions between scenes because of the way SU handles them. There may be ways that I am not aware of, but I have yet to see any real good solution (it would be great if someone told me im wrong because I wish that this could be fixed). Good luck and please post your results. Oh and I would also like to know where you got the plants if you dont mind sharing?
Very nice! I would probobly have used a luminescence map (or transparency map with a luminescent surface above, which would considerably lower file size as the ceiling is so curved).
......
Wo3Dan, I do not know exactly what you mean whit the shadows...?
........
Dirk,
What I mean is that at least in some of the 'Plattegronden' the information you get from the geometry
contradicts what the shadows are telling about the model.....unless the light source is close.
With exaggerated FoV it would be more difficult to tell but in some 'almost' topviews where walls
left and right are sort of parallel on screen it becomes noticable.
Have a look at attached file (with basic geometry of one of your 'plattegronden').
Please, try this "test": go to (menu) Window > Preferences > OpenGL and uncheck hardware acceleration. If the performance is improved, it means that you should find a video driver (i.e. updaet your driver) so that your system can handle OpenGL better.
This is a common issue with drivers and Vista and I only hope you can find a driver that solves your problem. If not, kee4p HA off until you find one.
